Today we had the most wonderful visit to the beautiful city of Lucca. Our friend Charles Duggan organized the day showing us around lovely Lucca. The highlight was having a private tour of the Puccini House and Museum by Luigi Viani, Director of the Puccini Foundation. It was so magical and meaningful to learn about life, history, and the 12 brilliant operas that Puccini wrote. Thank you Charles and Luigi for this special day. It was another great day in the lovely city of Florence. We visited Santa Maria Novella and the famous perfumerie which was established in 1212. Later that evening we enjoyed drinks on a rooftop terrace overlooking the city. To end the day, it was dinner at Casa Medici where we were treated like VIP’s by the Chef/Owner and his wife Chiarra. taken in Florence, Italy by @chuckleach

We have arrived in Florence and so did our dear friends Betsy and Michael. So let the fun begin. Being that it’s our anniversary today they treated us to a delicious dinner at a beautiful restaurant. Thank you both. It was a great first day. by @chuckleach
