The things you can do, or should do. I finally decided that I've finished updating my 3D showreel. This monkey mask from Chamula, Mexico is part of it. Here with a dithering effect I wanted to try out and the first mix of the music. I have no idea what I had done to the vocals.The things you can do. Recently I rewatched Eraserhead, it reminded me of my forgotten taste for grim, gritty art like Edward #kienholz . Slow burning mundane existential dread. And then there was a party. I went as a garlic vendor with hypoxia, or something equally glamorous. Let's see where this goes. by @chuknordic

A monster with a ducking problem.Occasionally I realize that these renders aren't particularly interesting to anybody but me. To me they are something potentially photo-realistic and something I wasn't able to do even a few years back but now can do achieve with relative ease. This is nice, but something I easily forget when working, the pressure's on and I feel like a total impostor.Got to look back some times and not only forwards to an ever-moving goalpost. by @chuknordic

Here's another old disturbing drawing. Noticed that kind of drawing doesn't work well in an embossed gold style, one association led to another and I ended up using the TB-303 interface instead. I like that gold on black card look. This practice is starting to resemble procrastination by now though. by @chuknordic

"When posting a drawing, place a pen next to it."I've wanted to make this scene and add this quote for so long. Now that I finally got around to it, I can't find the exact quote anymore.I used to draw while working. One dot here, another dot there, shapes would appear and turn into creatures. There was a whole continuity to the style and "subject matter". Even had a tiny little exhibition!(Thanks Marc. Thanks Abi!)Now I haven't drawn for a long time. Back then I'd tie myself up into a frustrated knot. I wanted to draw, make music, learn video and 3D! If I did one thing I didn't do the other. If I did all of them I wasn't socializing..Now I've narrowed it down to 3D.It's all 3D! by @chuknordic

20m, my current personal best. Lots to improve. Hopefully I'll get to 30 by the end of next summer and not aim for deeper after that. Ascending from 20 is 'scary' enough at the moment.. panic wants to get in there. It's all about being calm and perfecting your technique to save energy/oxygen . A weird sport! by @chuknordic
