I’ll never stop talking about this! A stunning sea of yellow shirts all over the stadium, the streets, the trains. I don’t usually get to see my country represented this hard so ofc it feels magical. The energy was pure #Ecuadorian joy #worldcup2026 #ecuador #shotonfilm #portra400 ( 3 iPhone photos that had to make the cut 💅🏽) taken in Lincoln Financial Philadelphia Eagles Stadium by @chullavida

CURANDERA 🌹♥️✨
by Katherine Bahena-Benitez

OUT NOW! 🌈🦋✨

The day has finally come, here is my short film, Curandera! ✨✨

I am so excited to share this during PRIDE MONTH! 🌈
Mucho amor to all my LGBTQIA+ Filmmakers, we are something truly so magical.
Share this with your loved ones, friends, community, etc!

Curandera logline:
When a young girl, descendant of Curanderas, undergoes a much needed limpia, a new her is re-birthed. In the midst of her cleanse, much is revealed, much is released. This is a story of ancestral medicine, reclaiming and rebirth. May our ancestral sacred practices be remembered. ✨✨

As the daughter of a Curandera, I wanted to create a
poetic short film that not only honors my lineage, but also celebrates the transformational power of the limpias I grew up with. Through this short film and throughout my artistic practice, I strive to share the beauty, resilience, and healing traditions of my people.
Thank you endlessly, for being part of this journey.

Gracias a mi mami,
por siempre ser mi mayor fuente de inspiración.
Te amo infinitamente. 🤍🌞✨
