I recently discovered old fashion lookbooks in a boutique at @coaldropsyard and started drawing and painting in them. Adding new layers, elements and portraits leads to exciting interrelations. In this case, I only left the background and covered the page with a raw portrait sketch.

‘You ok?’

the art of resourcefulness ☺️ When I ran out of drawing paper, I stumbled upon the back of my sketchpad—a hidden canvas. Ever since, I’ve embraced this last grey bit of space in my artistic practice. Which one speaks to you more, 🩶 or 🤍?

@cremerlondon is likely the culturally most influential new opening in Shoreditch year— full on cottagecore, table cloth, beautiful interiors, calm soundtracks and full 70s art and philosophy books for performative readers, an instant hub.

Their mugs — a curated selection of individuality and beauty — are a perfect subject for drawing.

I should do a series covering their whole range of mugs, this is the first one. by @chunky_pens

Now that I have a square sketchpad, it’s hard to resist not to draw pizza boxes all the time. Wait, did somebody say Pizza time? 🍕🤤 taken in Spitalfields E1 by @chunky_pens

💙❤️ my favourite new pencil, found it on Redchurch St at @labourandwait and I‘m always carrying it for quick observations in red and blue. by @chunky_pens

I always carry some pencils, but sometimes no sketchbook. So I spontaneously did this drawing of the barista at @commune_goodhood on their drinks menu.

Lovely texture and weight for a drawing paper btw, good choice @goodhood 👌🏼 #foundpaper taken in GOODHOOD by @chunky_pens
