Parce que ma quête envers une société plus inclusive n’a pas de limite !

Merci Le Journal de l’Afrique @france24 de m’avoir offert une tribune pour défendre la beauté de nos cheveux crépus et frisés, bien trop souvent marginalisés. C’était aussi une opportunité unique de sensibiliser le public à l’importance de célébrer la diversité capillaire, un aspect essentiel de notre identité et de notre culture.

Merci @aureliekouman et @almamys10 pour ce reportage si nécessaire.

Quelques années et un mic en plus 😏

In France, there aren’t really any places or events set up to bring Afro-descendant women together, or very few. With @beauty.overseas, I wanted to create something dedicated to them, where they can talk to each other, where they can be themselves and where they are celebrated. That’s why I’m so happy to have been with @theblackbeautyclub in Paris to talk about the Global Influence of Black Women on Beauty, and you really made the night memorable ! Thank you for sharing your visions, and your precious testimonials. I hope projects and beautiful friendships were born tonight.

I think that the future looks very promising and encouraging, thanks in large part to the efforts made by black women, who never stop fighting for their rights, to be recognized and respected. They have always been at the forefront of defending diversity and representation, and they will continue to push for significant change.

Commencer la rentrée avec un dîner qu’on n’est pas près d’oublier 🤍

Le thème était simple : venir avec un bijou qui nous est cher. Une bague, un collier… et surtout l’histoire qui va avec. L’idée était de parler de transmission, de souvenirs, de celles et ceux qui nous ont offert ces bijoux ou de ce qu’ils représentent pour nous.

On a toutes fini en larmes. 🙂‍↔️❤️‍🩹

On ne se rend pas toujours compte à quel point un bijou peut raconter une histoire. Celui qu’on voit tous les jours autour du cou ou au doigt de quelqu’un peut porter tellement de mémoire.

Et c’était encore plus beau de découvrir toutes ces histoires, parfois très intimes, alors qu’on ne se connaissait pas toutes en arrivant.

C’est aussi pour ça que j’aime autant les dîners @plandetable. De vraies parenthèses où pendant quelques heures, on est toutes hyper connectées les unes aux autres, et je trouve que c’est assez rare dans les événements de réussir à créer ce genre de lien.

✨ Merci à @mansano_paris d’avoir accompagné ce dîner, merci Hana pour ta douceur. On a passé un moment vraiment précieux

Et évidemment merci aux meilleures hôtes de @plandetable, les sista @laurianneme et @azurasmind 🫶🏽
