Last week, I had a great conversation with Orator @orator_walubengo on about how young people can be better prepared to drive meaningful change in their communities.

I had a productive day serving as part of the organizing team for the Disruptors Convention – Juba Edition by @ispeak_societyglobal led by @orator_walubengo

It was inspiring to see more than 180 young people come together with a shared desire to learn, grow, and make a positive contribution to society.

A special thank you to all the volunteers whose dedication, teamwork, and commitment made the event a success. Together, we created an experience that will continue to inspire many young people.

On Day 3 of the Eastern Africa English for Business and Entrepreneurship Hackathon at MS. TCDC, Arusha, Tanzania, we pitched our cross-border ideas while continuing to network and collaborate beyond borders.

It was a great experience presenting in front of judges. Since joining the innovation space in 2022, pitching has been both challenging and rewarding ; a journey of continuous learning and relearning.

I met Gemeiza Kakule and reminded her of her Women’s Day statement about ambition and leadership.
I asked if she had found the man dreaming of becoming president.

She smiled, “I’m still searching.”
I told her, “Don’t look far, there are ambitious Lou Nuer men dreaming big and treating women like real queens.” 👑😄

On the inaugural day of the Innovative Entrepreneurship Training Program by STEMpower SouthSudan, in partnership with the Embassy of Israel and Colosseum, officially launched a high-impact two-day entrepreneurship training held Thursday and Friday at the University of Juba.

Oren Simanian @orensimanian, a serial entrepreneur and early-stage investor and founder of Colosseum, guided young entrepreneurs on how to build scalable startups using practical tools and strategies. He explained how to create ventures that generate real value and emphasized that it takes the right mindset to make 1,000, 5,000, or even 1 million.
