GIANT SLAYERS ⚔️🔥

This past Sunday, we were reminded that victories in the secret place prepare us for battles in the valley. David defeated Goliath because he feared God more than he feared the giant.

Not every battle is yours to fight, but when God calls you to stand, stand in faith! Giant slayers reproduce giant slayers!!

We love you, Church of Acts family! Keep slaying the giants & we will see you next week. ❤️‍🔥 taken in Church of Acts by @churchofacts

October is Pastor Appreciation Month, and we’re taking time to celebrate and honor our pastors, Ross and Audra Raines! ❤️

At Church of Acts, we believe honor is valuing what God values. A heart of honor sees others through the lens of their kingdom identity and fans the flame of God within them. We value the person over the position.

We want to recognize the faithfulness and sacrifices of the people God has entrusted to shepherd our house. Pastors Ross and Audra, thank you for your continued yes to Jesus, your love for His people, and the way you faithfully lead our church. We are grateful for the gift you are to our house!

Church of Acts family, let’s fan the flame! 🔥 Drop a comment below and share something you love and appreciate about Pastors Ross and Audra!

One of our unique characteristics is we are Presence Driven❤️‍🔥

We are not built around any person or ministry. We are built around the presence of God. We consistently ask God for His mind and His heart for His house.

Sunday was a beautiful time with the Lord & with one another! We dove into 1 Samuel & saw that before David stood before kings and slayed giants, he was found faithful in the shepherd field! David believed God!
When you love God and believe God there is an explosion of authority and power!
Lord, would you find us faithful like David! ❤️‍🔥 by @churchofacts

Sunday Recap➡️ Pastor Ross preached an incredible word on the Strength of God!
If we want to walk in the strength of God we have to move:
From rebellion to repentance,
From fear of man to fear of the Lord,
From disobedience to obedience.
We cannot serve God and man. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways!
“Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is kept safe.” Proverbs 29:25 ❤️‍🔥 by @churchofacts

On Sunday Roland Flores, a son of the house brought us a word “Not by Flesh and Blood.” We dove into Matthew 16- Peter’s confession of faith and saw that the revelation Peter received was not by man, but by the Spirit. Today, we can receive that same revelation!❤️‍🔥
