room dancing week 11 🧚🧚

slowly learning to honour this softer pace of life as the seasons change. I have not had a proper winter in 3 years with all this constant travel between aus + europe. it has been an eternal summer for my nervous system. but nature needs cycles and seasons for a reason. and as a deeply interconnected part of nature, I need these inner cycles and seasons, too :)

this time last week I spent the whole day in bed writing. writing + writing + writing. sickness forcing me to sit still and sit with myself. I genuinely cannot remember the last time I gifted myself this rest…. proper rest. which is silly, because deep down I KNOW how fundamental rest + yin + stillness are to balancing the body. why does it take fever + nausea to force me to remember?

listening to this east forest song helps me to remember - to bask in the stillness of my inner world. to move slower; listen more. to feel more.

so, this now feels like the season of integration. after back to back movement intensives + workshops, and feeling so inspired over the summer consuming all this information - now is the time to allow it to settle. to create space to digest. to then share with the world.

and I’m starting to :) teaching yoga + contemporary classes here in berlin. sharing essence classes online with @mov____e !! it feels like a beautiful exchange to give back with reciprocity. and something I am feeling really called to offering more 🤍

- also what a magic space I get to move in?!! grateful for @chuvatti’s art and for a nourishing post teaching improv <3 taken in Berlin, Germany by @chuva_4

“Chiaroscuro”
(Acrylic on canvas 16”x16”)
This painting reflects part of my recent trip to Canada. In my understanding chiaroscuro represents the beautiful, necessary dance between light and darkness within the human soul. It shows that our highest joys and deepest struggles are not opposites, but parts of a single, sacred whole.
Thank you @k.flow.studio for your thoughts on this piece and naming it.

The imagination has the power to create otherworldly realms ✨💠✨

Flow and structure are parts of life that balance each other out. Intuition moves like liquid colored light, and geometry anchors it into existence. Creation is just a dance between control and chaos.

What would you create if you fully let go and and trusted yourself to build movement into shapes? 🌊

🌟 Original available - This piece will be shipped back out to Europe this Wednesday the 18th and price will go up for an exhibition. Message me to claim it a lower price before it's gone!

Reveal of this mystical flowy painting collab between myself and @chuvatti.

We started this piece together in beautiful Portugal after a festival we were supposed to have our art at got unexpectedly cancelled last minute. Had it not been cancelled, this painting might have never been created. Sometimes things happen for a reason, and something better flows through.

✨The painting traveled all the way from Europe back to the US for me to finish, and is available to purchase for a short period of time - until March 20th - before it returns to Europe for an exhibition and the price increases.✨

Message me if you’re interested in owning this artwork💠

What should we title it? Leave some ideas in the comments below and let us know what you think of it!
