My last chapter of softball has came to a close. Monday May 26 @11:00 ish pm I ran my last lap around on my home filed. Softball has been my escape from life and another home to me. Although I started playing late I fell more in love with game everyday. Softball has taught many lessons that I will carry with me in life.
Coaches, Thank you! Thank you for pushing us everyday. Getting us ice cream to cheer us up. Opening your home to us for sectionals. Never giving up on us. Lastly making softball fun and enjoyable to play.
Teammates, I will miss every one of yall and miss the past teammates too. Thank you for allowing me to be left fielder and center fielder over these 4 years. I loved being in center field that past two years and y’all always depended on me. Thank you for pushing me everyday to get better and never losing hope on me. I was honored to be a captain for yall and can’t wait to see what you guys achieve! I am always a phone call and text away!🫶🏼
EG Community, Thank you for showing up to everyday game! The cold, rainy, and hot games. Y’all were always there and never let us down!
Family, Thank you for the support and always helping me get better. Mom and Dad, Thank you for coming to every game and always ruining to the concession for a gatorade or skittles for my sugar. Yall are the real MVPs and made this possible for me!
Siblings, Thank you for always coming to the games or texting me to see how I did. Brothers thank you for throwing with me and teaching me all the small stuff to make sure I was ready. Sis thank you for your support and always telling me the truth about how I did. I love you guys!!

Basketball,
Thank you to my parents for always pushing me towards success and always being there every step of the way. To my siblings you guys are my inspiration from watching yall play to following in your footsteps. I wouldn’t be the player I am today without any of those hard lessons y’all gave me. To my family and friends, from playing against eachother to being each other’s biggest fans! Fam thank you for always supporting me even when it was from watching online or showing up. All of it is appreciated more than you know! To the players, thank you for being there every step of the way this season. Started off with an injury and ended with a sickness is never a plan but y’all still never gave up on me. My fellow seniors, i love you guys so much and I wouldn’t want to spend 4 years with anyone else. We may yell and push each other more than normal but that’s just because we want each of us to improve. To coaches, present and past coaches y’all have impacted my life in many ways. I have not only grown as a player but also as person. Thank you for believing in me whenever you coached me and pushing me to always get better. Lastly EG community, thank you for all the support you have given me these last 4 years. Man has it been fun and challenging throughout. Game days would not be the same without your support and the yelling that always made us laugh when we’re out on the bench. Y’all made this journey a fun one! Thank you EG for these last 4 years! Once a thunderbird always a thunderbird❤️ ~#11 signing off by @chyann.padgett
