This one is so tough. My beautiful Daddy, you were such an incredible man. I love you more than anything. Blessed beyond measures being Doug’s daughter. Thank you for being the most amazing person in our lives. Thank you for being our rock, our cornerstone, our hero, our backbone our Coach and protecter. You are a legend. The best Husband, Father and Papa. We are so blessed to have you in our lives. You did it all dad, and I am endlessly grateful for you. Your strength, kindness, and unwavering tough love that have shaped us in ways words can’t fully capture, your spirit lives on in everything we do. You changed and touched so much lives in our community and beyond, I hope you know how deeply you are loved and cherished, today and always. Happy Birthday to the Greatest. ❤️
It never gets easier. To be honest, it still doesn’t feel real. I wish I could tell you one more time how thankful I am for the amazing childhood, for the way you loved and cared for mom and us and What an amazing papa you were to our kids 🥹.

What I would do for one more chance to hug you and tell you I love you. Thank you for the example you set for our family being the leader, the provider, the protector. Our Superman, our hero, and now our angel. I miss you every single day and still tell you goodnight after my prayers. This grief is unimaginable and I never wish this on anyone. Today was so hard Daddy…. I love you!
