🌆 Over the summer, I photographed the cover of @vamuseum's magazine for their 71st issue.

Yes, this actually happened, and it’s finally out! This is my first ever cover for an international publication. I also have several other photographs featured throughout the issue, illustrating the features on Istanbul.

Massive thanks to @tesssavina and the wonderful team at @cultureshockit for trusting me with this cover story. A special thanks also goes to @mr.kutlay, who took me on an incredible tour of the city's church-mosques.

But signs or seasons no longer exist in the sense that they were certain constants in your childhood; like turning a corner on the street, or taking a picture of something you saw. I'll say it for you: the only constant is, unfortunately, you. offgrid art project, yeni sezonunu İstanbul’un değişen fiziksel ve kültürel katmanlarına odaklanan “Aynı Şehirde” grup sergisiyle açıyor.

18 Eylül - 25 Ekim 2026 tarihleri arasında gerçekleşecek sergide Ci Demi, Hüseyin Güler ve Tibet Oktay Aslan, İstanbul’u hafıza, gündelik hayat ve insan-mekan ilişkileri üzerinden ele alıyor.

Ci Demi (1986, İstanbul), çalışmalarında yaşadığı şehrin psikocoğrafyasını inceliyor. Fotoğrafları Foam Magazine ve British Journal of Photography gibi uluslararası yayınlarda yer alan sanatçının işleri, Les Rencontres d’Arles ve Pera Müzesi gibi önemli kurum ve festivallerde sergilendi. 2022’de Unutursan Darılmam serisiyle Encontros da Imagem Discovery Award’ın birincilik ödülünü aldı. taken in offgrid art project by @ci_demi
