In honor of Women’s History Month last week we hosted our annual Night of Excellence honoring some amazing women that continue to inspire us in our community. At the end of the evening we inducted our new members with our pearl ceremony and had a special video tribute to our W2W Seniors. Thank you to all our performers including Central Islip Baila and @3d_dance_studios

Our main goal in Women 2 Women is always to give back! This month we partnered with @aka_sigmapsiomega Sorority Inc. to pack 120 food bags for students of the Brentwood School District @bufsdny to fight hunger. The bags will be delivered to students of the Northwood Elementary School. 🩷💚 by @ci_w2w

Thank you @cedarmoregirlztalk for hosting another wonderful Girlz Talk Book Club Brunch! The book ‘Sweetness in the Skin’ is a beautiful story on love, family and determination told through Carribbean culture. The story gave everyone an opportunity to discuss the many themes in the book including, classism, colorism and difficult family relationships. And a big thank you to the author @ishi.ishi.ish for surprising us and joining the discussion! For the Women 2 Women Book Club this year we read the YA thriller Their Vicious Games. It was such an exciting book and even more exciting to have the author @jowellington join us to discuss the book, her journey as a writer and her plans for the future. Special thanks to Mrs. Johnson for teaching us how to properly execute cpr and provide proper assistance to someone who appears to be choking. She throughly explained the steps it takes to do both efficiently and even gave us an opportunity to be hands on so that we can potentially save a life, if that time ever comes. It was a great learning experience. Rest assured , you are safe in the hands of W2W 😁. Thank you Mrs.Johnson for providing us with the knowledge to potentially save a life.💕 by @ci_w2w
