You've got mail 📬🤭 The Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA®) today unveiled a new look and logo for the CIAA and Friends Literacy Circle, marking a new chapter for the conference initiative focused on using the power of reading, education, HBCUs and athletics to inspire young people. Building on the success of literacy programming surrounding the CIAA Men’s and Women’s Basketball Tournament, the CIAA and Friends Literacy Circle is expanding into a year long initiative, creating opportunities for CIAA member institutions, student athletes, educators, community partners and supporters to engage young readers throughout the year. by @ciaasaac

This past week, President Leila Jackson and Vice President Loryn Sturgis had an amazing opportunity to represent VSU at this year’s CIAA SAAC Summer Summit! From connecting with student-athlete leaders across the conference to sharing ideas, building relationships, and preparing for an impactful year ahead, this experience was one to remember. A huge thank you to the CIAA for hosting such an inspiring and collaborative weekend. We can’t wait to bring everything we’ve learned back to our campus. 🧡💙 #GreaterHappensHere #CIAASAAC by @ciaasaac

📚🐂 Big things happening in Charlotte! While CIAA SAAC Summer Summit kicks off (July 22-24), our own JCSU Student-Athlete Advisory Committee reps are teaming up with Smitty & Friends to spread the love of reading to our young Golden Bulls in the making! Shoutout to Janya Barnes and Alesia Sylverain for repping JCSU Track & Field at the summit while our campus community gives back. This is what CIAA family looks like — on the track AND in the community. 💙💛 #CIAA #JCSU #GoldenBulls #ciaaSAAC #ReadingIsFundamental by @ciaasaac
