MAMÁ, I DID IT! 💙

On July 22, I officially graduated with my Master’s in Screenwriting for Series, and somehow I’m only getting around to posting it now. So, happy two-month anniversary to the day I finally got to say: I gave it my all and loved every second of it!

This past year was so much more than I could’ve ever asked for, and so much of that is because of the people I got to share it with.

To my dear colleagues, classmates, and friends: thank you for all the laughs, the long writing sessions, and all the touristy days that ended with us barely feeling our feet. Thank you for every challenge we gave each other while trying to make our stories and series better. You’ve made me see stories from perspectives I might not have found on my own, and somehow still fall in love with them.

I can’t wait until we get to meet again. All of us. Wherever life takes us, you’ll always have a friend and one of your biggest supporters in me. I’m wishing all of us the best of luck in this new chapter.

And to my amazing professors: thank you for bringing out the writer that was hiding somewhere inside me. You pushed me outside of my comfort zone while also teaching me how to find the balance between exploring new possibilities and staying true to what a story should be.

I value your guidance, your feedback, and your words more than I can say. Spending hours writing and rewriting was so much fun because I knew you’d always be there to help me make the story better and, ultimately, make me a better writer.

Thank you for making my Master’s the best one yet. For the stories, the lessons, the laughter, and for being part of a year I’ll carry with me for a very long time.

Here’s to our next season!
