got our elopement gallery back ….. ✨🩷🥰🌳🥹🌲🤧💍🌿🌊🖤 🪵

like what the heck!!!! no words. I love you Kaimen Hunter Brasher! So blessed to be your wife! ♥️

and yall, please check out @briannaparksphotography I mean the photos speak for themselves, but beyond that, she is so caring and generous. fun fact: I got sick on the way to our last photo location and we had to stop and she was so willing to help and make sure I was better before we kept going. she also let me keep my rental flowers are her house bc I couldn’t have them delivered to the airbnb. and she was super flexible about timing bc I was literally late to my own wedding! lol! overall, 10/10 recommend her! and if you’re already married, just give her a follow bc nothings wrong with living vicariously through all her amazing adventures! and bc we love supporting businesses ;) taken in Jedidiah Smith Redwoods State Park by @ciara.brasher

Los hijos son un regalo del Señor; los frutos del vientre son nuestra recompensa. Salmo 127:3 🤎

Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward. Psalm 127:3 🤎

We are so blessed and excited to be starting a family. It’s been a desire of ours for a while now, so we are eternally grateful to the Lord for trusting us with this precious soul. However, I can’t help but remember and think about those whose day is still coming, who are yearning for a family as well. My prayers are with you. We had two losses before this rainbow baby, and we can understand the waiting and questions. One thing I know is a constant, is that God is good. Even in the waiting. Even in the doubt. Even in the anger. And even in the hurt. My prayer for every person waiting their turn, is that the Lord may bless you with a child one day. I can’t promise that his answer is always yes, but I can promise that his goodness will follow you all the days of your life. And he is ever so present in that waiting period. When you feel weak, His strength is made perfect. So lean on Christ. Always, even when things are good too. 🤍

Baby Brasher coming April 2027! 👶🏻 (Also, we plan on doing the OPOL method, which is one parent, one language, so yes I am literally going to be speaking only Spanish to the baby, even if it’s wrong! I really learned Spanish so my children can also inherit the superpower of being bilingual! Brb gotta do my Spanish lesson! 🤪)

The longest, hardest, and most rewarding hike of my life! (Granted I haven’t hiked much in general). We attempted the Big Beehive hike and ended up completing the Little Beehive. Here’s a photo/video story of how that went..

My watch died before we completed the hike, but we completely the Little Beehive (with an initial detour to a portion of the Big Beehive) in about 4.5 hours. Our elevation gain was 2,163 feet and I’m estimating our round trip miles were around 6.5 miles with the backtracking from big beehive.

1. Overlooking Lake Louise right before we hit the top of Little Beehive
2. Beginning switchbacks of the hike
3. First viewpoint of Lake Louise
4. Me dying as we continue on
5. Little waterfall right next to the tea house
6. Extreme weather change to cold, windy, and rainy right as we got to the tea house
7. Hiking to the right of the mostly frozen Lake Agnes
8. Insane view of the mountain
9. View of the lake from the back end (this is where is started getting very sus lol)
10. Me hiking this narrow snow path thinking nothing about it
11. Me realizing I ain’t risking my life to hike straight up the snowy mountain when one wrong step and I’m sliding down the mountainside into the frigid lake… heck nahhhh
12. Experiencing the sun again as we back tracked to little beehive
13. Us on the edge of the cliff before we reached the summit
14. Selfie after having survived this hike and making it to the top!
15, 16, 17, 18. VIEWS!
19. Mirror lake on the way back down
20. Silly pic bc I made it to the top

At the summit, we enjoyed beautiful views of Lake Louise, Mirror Lake, and Big Beehive from afar lol. I felt so small up there. It immediately made me reflect on God’s love. Although we are minute in the grand scheme of the universe, we are still God’s favorite creation, and he has displayed his great love for little ole us by giving up his Son to die a death that we deserve. Thank you Jesus! taken in Little Beehive Lookout by @ciara.brasher

a trip to the carolinas ⛷️🛣️❄️🏞️

jk we mostly went to Asheville, NC and just stopped in Greenville, SC on the way home. somehow I’ve never been to either of the carolinas so I’m happy to knock 2 more states off my list to visit them all someday. 🤞🏼

skiing was my favorite part! we did pretty good for our first time, we attempted a blue run before we left and ngl, it traumatized me lol. the jump between green and blue was CRAZY. I think it was because there was only one green open at this place when we went. If we go somewhere like CO to ski one day, I’m sure there will be varying levels of green so I can build up before trying blue again. I literally wiped out bad like 5 times on the blue run and woke up the next day with like 6 bruises haha. anyways, definitely recommend trying skiing once (if you’re decently active and have balance).

Greenville was SO CUTE. I love it! I wish we had more time to explore around. It felt like a mini southern version of NYC to me somehow. Like a little tiny Central Park and super quaint, clean, and safe feeling downtown.

I’m grateful we were able to take a little holiday trip to ring in the new year! 2025 was my favorite year so far, (even with loss bc in my weakness, Christ’s strength is made perfect) so I can’t wait for what God will do in 2026! 🤍 Thank you to everyone who shared kind words with me and Kaimen recently. We appreciate it deeply. 🫶🏼 HAPPY 2026! 🎉 taken in Asheville, NC by @ciara.brasher

we were gonna have a baby… and then we weren’t. and yet, God is good.

I found out I was pregnant and we were so excited! And then 5 days later, on the day after Christmas, the little tiny baby died. I really can’t explain how sorrowful those first 3 days were. Sometimes I think people assume Christians have perfect lives or nothing bad happens to them, but I want to share that God is just as good in the valleys, even in death, than He is on the mountaintops. I share this loss with the hope to encourage others in their faith.

I know it was only 5 days of us knowing, and only 4 weeks and 2 days of the baby growing, but it was still so saddening. A small tiny itty bitty baby that God formed, unfortunately passed away. And idk why, it could be a number of things, but one thing I do know, is that my God is good and He’s never left me. Even through the tears I felt a supernatural, true peace and literally felt like the Holy Spirit was with me as the Comforter. And what great hope it is to know that our little baby is in heaven and we will get to meet him/her one day. It made me wonder how people get through tragedy without our Lord.

Some passages I read during this time have been Romans 5:3-5, James 1:2-4 and:

“But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong.”
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭12‬:‭9‬-‭10‬

The song Highlands (song of ascent) is a beautiful picture of God’s love and goodness at all times, in all seasons. I can’t post the whole thing bc it’s over 5 mins but give it a listen and read the lyrics. (Don’t judge, it’s not pitch perfect).

I have more to say but there’s a character limit… :( I will hopefully share more later. I have so many thoughts on God’s goodness after experiencing this loss. And lastly, if you don’t know the Lord, and want to, please message me if you don’t know where to start. You don’t know true peace without knowing Jesus. He loves you. 🤍 by @ciara.brasher
