Twenty nineeeee 🍾

they say with age comes wisdom and though I’m still very young, I can’t help but reflect and think “Wow.” In full transparency 28 sucked completely and many would fold in my position period. To have so many of you reach out with how I handled so much with grace, to send me kind words and check on me non stop even when I’m kinda “mean” it means the world. Y’all were sooo sweet this birthday. It truly was the best one I’ve ever had. I feel so seen. What a way to start my personal new year. So here’s what I did:

- first of all, no teaching. I wanted a few days without added stressors.
- paid for a 5 week writing course so I can fall back in love with my passion & fulfill a promise I can’t break.
- let my friends plan things and keep me out all week (my stomach is paying for it now)
- spent a full day crying in bed being veryyy Pisces like

More importantly, in the midst of being extremely depressed so many of the ppl closest to me used this time to truly pour into and make sure I felt loved. A feeling I’ve struggled with tremendously since losing my love. Sisterhood truly has such a deeper meaning in my heart now (& my boys). I’m a happy wreck. by @ciaramisttt_
