NEW WORK: Well this trailer had me pretty tense after watching it. No way I could sit in a dark theatre and watch it. 😂 My track The Voice Within from the amazing @evolvingsoundofficial can be heard in the new teaser for Alien: Romulus. Big thanks to all the team for placing my track in such an iconic film franchise.

NEW WORK: Custom work with the incredible @totemmx team. Our cover of 'Knuck If You Buck' is used in the new trailer for 'Knuckles' on Paramount+. Huge thanks again to the team for their work and guidance on this one.

Thanks again to @outputbelfast for having me, @clairecomposer, and @deanfaganmusic up to chat about all things production music and trailer music. It hopefully helped people understand what's required of the job if they ever wanted to get into it themselves.

I'll be @outputbelfast tomorrow talking with @clairecomposer and @deanfaganmusic about the world of production music. And how music that's written for trailers finds its way into TV shows. It should be a really fun chat, and a great conference.

Wow wow wow is all I can say. I'm still a bit shocked that this is real. 😂 In 2019 I had the pinch me moment that I got to write music used in the Avengers: Endgame trailer. But as someone with very low self esteem you put that squarely down to luck. But to try again and have another track loved and used in the new trailer for @avengers Doomsday, tells me maybe there's something I can do right in this crazy music world. Huge thank you to the team at @totemmx for even asking me to come along for the ride on this one. It means the world to me. And I'm just delighted I could repay you with the custom that we did together. Here's to more in the future! 🥂🍾

This was a cool custom to work on. Wind, rain, thunder and lightning sounds, which I custom made to mix in with drums and shouts. Big thanks to Radius MX for asking me along for this. You can hear my track Tempest from 0:10-0:30 in this spot.

Big thank you to @evolvingsoundofficial for placing my custom version of The Mandalorian theme in the campaign for The Mandalorian and Grogu. As a huge Star Wars geek I treated myself to Lego for my studio. 😂💪 by @ciaranbirch_

NEW WORK: Thanks to the team at @elephant_music for getting some of my sound design in the campaign for Wicked: For Good. ❤️ by @ciaranbirch_

NEW WORK 🎵: Ahhhh man, this is just unbelievable to be able to post about...music in a Mario trailer. My custom rework of Koji Kondo's iconic Mario theme is used throughout the new trailer for The Super Mario Galaxy Movie. I just want to thank the team at @evolvingsoundofficial for being so patient with me. 🤣 They helped so much to shape the track, they really are phenomenal. And huge congrats to all the team at @avsquadla for an unbelievable cut. As a fan it looked and sounded incredible. Now for wine. 🍷

This super cool placement for HBO Max was actually done earlier this year, but I just got around to posting it now. Big thanks to @totemmx for bringing me along to do overlay work on this amazing custom of 'Gossip - Real Power'. It turned out when the trailer came out that it was none other than the talented @eric_tannery who had put together the original rework of the track. Mega fun to put some ideas over his great work.
