Ciara recently joined us at Sola Salons Northeast, and honestly it feels like she’s been part of the community forever! With 16 years in the industry, her experience and talent speaks for itself.

She made the leap into business ownership because independence has always been her thing (Capricorn energy ♑️). Since opening her suite, she’s loved creating a space where her guests feel comfortable, relaxed, and truly taken care of.

September is over I guess? HAPPY HALLOWEEN 🎃👻🖤

In September I did some cool hair, a few trades, fell really hard, had some yummy treats and won Ray-bans at bingo with @solatwincities… still haven’t grown a pumpkin but I have a bunch of Photos of the flowers ☠️

Excited to move into the holiday season(the busiest time of the year)! The summer flew by 💫

i’ve been having a lot of fun incorporating people’s natural hair into their different colors, but I wish more people would do things like this! I love getting to use someone’s natural color or existing color in their previous vivid. Being that it is Halloween season, I’ve been playing a lot with neons! They’re my fcking favorite!

I’m already fighting the sun with photos so bear with me while I adjust to a new space and fall/winter lighting 🫶

TIE DYE TOUR ‘27?!

Who wants to host? 👀

My tie-dye technique was a baby of lockdown. I colored my own hair and it was hard to get multiple colors in there without them bleeding. I tied my hair with rubber bands to separate it. It worked! I had blue jean blue and pink without purple.

Over time my technique has evolved and I’ve taught in 3 states so far! Maybe I can check all 50 off eventually! I look forward to sharing more education with yall virtually, too 🤓🎨✂️

This technique was my Cov1d baby so I’m happy I’m continuing to use and teach it! I don’t often get to use lightener with it so it was a fun change up!

Dara colors at home between appointments(no I don’t mind) with approved brands. The previous color has held on for a long time. It’s @crazycolorwestcoast_usa color foam in blue and purple. I know they will be using lunartideshair this time for a change up 💫

If you are a host salon, I’d love to make a 2027 tie dye tour happen! So don’t be shy, my DMs are open 💌

Lift 10 and 20 vol @dangerjonesbold powder with just a touch of cream to keep it from drying out while air processing 🌀

If you’re ready to replace your salon towels, check them out! I think I would start with mostly babies and maybe a couple medium or large.

I’ve found the baby towels are a perfect size replacement for standard salon towels. While the medium is great for curly, long, and thick hair. I love the big daddy for big projects, it’s nice not having to use 3 towels for wiping my hands clean. The cape is a great for my long haired baddies, which is a lot of my clientele 😌
