it all started with a dream ☁️
literally…

i had no idea that i would be where i am today. i had three different dreams about Highlands College before I even knew that it existed.

I was in the 10th grade and I saw the Greystone & Grandview campuses in a dream and eventually found out about Highlands College almost two years later in 2019 at my church’s Tuesday night service in FL 🤍

Pic Two - On February 29th, 2020 right before COVID, my family & I met with Hamid in a local coffee shop in West Palm Beach, Florida and I made my decision to come to HC, even though my application process took another year 😅

The girl in the second picture was so fearful, insecure, broken…i faced so many hard things before I He came here and even throughout my time here.

I would have panicked at the thought of leading worship in front of a crowd of people let alone singing a note in front of people, shout-out my first HC development iykyk 😅.
But God held my hand.

I couldn’t have imagined speaking to a crowd, giving a ministry moment where my heart wasn’t in the pit of my stomach, all the anxiety, self-doubt, and just same old lies of the enemy telling me that
I would never be a leader, that I didn’t have anything to say, I didn’t deserve to even call myself a Christian, that I could never be a light, no one actually enjoys being around you if they’re honest and that I should just stay quiet.

But God held my hand.

- my first ministry moment in intro to prac in 2021 vs my last moment as an ambassador leading our pre-preview day huddle 2023🥹

- my first time doing an evening service (all I could do was rock back and forth or throw up) vs my last Motion night as a student last Wednesday 2023
God held my hand

And so on ! The fact that this is only the beginning ! Always say yes to God because he knows more and sees more than can and will ever ! He has remained faithful to me after time. I have tasted and seen the Goodness of My God ! He has never left nor forsaken me even at my lowest points. I’m so grateful for this journey, my forever HC family, leaders, mentors, and friends who have also held my hand along the way and loved me. -Until the End 🤍 taken in Highlands College by @ciathesunshine

if you didn’t know, now you know
I moved back home to the dmv 2 months ago and I didn’t think this was ever going to be apart of the plan but The Lord has been so faithful ! it’s had its ups and downs but every worry I’ve had considering coming back he’s done exceedingly and above it all and we haven’t scratched the surface of what he’s going to do in the next 2 months !

my best friend is in love !!! 💐 getting to watch Jesus write your love story has been so so sweet and so much fun!

i remember us being in the car outside the HC dorms during our last semester when you told me you thought Oscar was cute and us giggling and plotting hehe and now here we are🤭!!

2 months married already is CRAZY !! But l’m so glad to see you get God’s best and see how He has honored your faithfulness and brought you an amazing husband like Oscar!

I love you both and am so grateful to be able to be apart of your love story... literally....your welcome🤪
