I have no words for the day we had today. Swimming in pools under waterfalls and in the warm ocean…. Sitting and listening to both the waves and a big thunder storm roll in before walking an hour back home in the POURING rain. UGH. A perfect perfect day. Pics from this weekend on my backpacking trip in Mt. Baker National Forest! I am feeling so beyond thankful. Just full to the brim w gratitude for the privileges I have that give me the opening to explore our beautiful earth. The luxury of a job that gives me 2 full days off a week, so I have the time to go. A (mostly) healthy and strong body that gives me access to these special places. Income enough that I can spend some extra money on gas for 6 hours of driving. A large majority of us on this app take these blessings for granted (I absolutely do too so often), it’s easy to forget how lucky we are! Being out in nature, exploring by myself and having the space to just take it all in, it’s impossible not to be reminded of the abundance in my life. I am SO lucky.
Im partnering with @worldpackers.epictrips @worldpackers to take a trip with a few girls who feel the pull to experience all that our beautiful world has to offer. Maybe you haven’t traveled much at all before, maybe you’ve traveled a ton but want to make more of a travel community, this trip is for you:) let’s get out there <3

Actually the most perfect weekend of my life. Having 40 of our closest friends and family together for 2 full days (that zoomed by WAY too fast) was so incredibly special. So many people worked so so so hard the last few months to make this possible and I am overwhelmed with gratitude. My sister Sophie somehow managed to plan and execute an entire wedding weekend AND be our photographer?????? So huge shoutout to @shotbymosquito / @sophiefondren …. I seriously will never know how you did it. I love my friends. I love my family. I love my HUSBAND!!!!!!! Me??? Married??? Who would have thought🥹 by @cicisomewhere

I’m feeling INSPIRED to inspire YOU to get outside alone this summer!!!!! Nothing has been better for me and my confidence than exploring/ hiking/ backpacking/ camping alone. It’s so scary at first but then it is SO EMPOWERING. You are strong and capable!!!! I’m making it my mission to convince you!

AHHHHHH this first solo adventure of the summer has me feeling absolutely lit up inside. I spent alllllll winter tucked away crafting and resting, and I feel like this day exploring out in the wilderness has breathed fresh life back into me. I’m alive!!!! I’m so excited to spend the next 5 months exploring, finding new special places in my home state of Washington, and pushing myself out of my comfort zone. This summer in the PNW is going to be so special 🥹🌱✨🧚🏻

Chanel took these photos on her freaking vintage Polaroid camera (and then scanned the physical photos on a printer to send to me). HELLO????? Chanel took these photos while Sophie was taking pics on her phone (the ones I already posted) and I am just blown away at the way Chanel was able to magically turn a rushed 20min photo shoot -during the final minutes of light before dusk- into these priceless, perfectly captured moments😭 MY GIRL HAS THE CREATIVE VISION ON LOCKKKKK

When Jamie asked me what was important for me/ what I wanted for a proposal my only requests were that I wanted to be surprised and I wanted Chanel there to capture it. I can’t believe I have the most talented best friend in the world😭 I will cherish these forever. Thank you my sweet Chanel 🥹 by @cicisomewhere
