AI agents are moving into financial services, but giving them access to critical data and financial systems raises new questions about security, control, and risk.

In this edition of Tech Friday, Nasir Jan, Head of Strategic Accounts BFSI, UK at Ciklum, explores three developments shaping how AI is used in banking:

• Why AI agents require stronger safeguards;
• How HSBC is integrating MCP into corporate banking;
• How AI agents could accelerate fund transfers between accounts.

Two days in Prague – looking at what’s next for AI 💡

Our 11th Ciklum Client Conference brought together 50+ clients, partners, and Ciklumers for honest conversations, practical insights, and fresh perspectives on AI.

From becoming an AI-first enterprise and modernising legacy systems to scaling conversational AI and turning real-time data into better decisions, we explored what it takes to move beyond AI experiments and create lasting business value.

With live demos, hands-on workshops, real customer stories, and plenty of time to connect, the conference was all about sharing what works, learning from each other, and building what matters next. by @ciklum

Anna Fedorcakova runs yoga classes for her colleagues at our Bratislava office every Wednesday morning, with the option to join online.

Ivan Yantsevych finds plogging – running or walking while picking up litter in places that mean something to him – a great way to recharge.

For Lucian Gruia, staying curious and making time for people he cares about are simple ways to recharge and feel refreshed.

For Alina Skrypachova, spending time in nature helps her stay present, reset, and recharge.

For Veronika Hnilickova, staying active and making time to disconnect helps her feel balanced and refreshed.

For Anna Popil, one of the best ways to shake off stress is to turn up the music, dance around, and let loose. Spending time with the people closest to her also gives her a sense of comfort and support.

For Tushar Raut, short breaks, fresh air, and a favourite song are simple ways to clear his mind and relax.

Oleksandr Rudenko practises Sahaja Yoga meditation twice a day. He says it helps him feel balanced and supports his physical, emotional and mental wellbeing.

For David Rysanek, a body movement is the simplest way to start the day feeling refreshed and ready to go.

A day of CX ideas and teamwork in Warsaw 💡

Last week, Ciklum’s Product Managers, Business Analysts, and Product Designers came together for the first Poland Delivery Center Customer Experience Meetup.

With people from different projects and backgrounds in the room, it was a great space to share knowledge and experiences, and explore what we can build as a CX community.

A collaborative “How Might We” workshop helped turn those discussions into practical ideas around creating more value for clients, strengthening presales, bringing AI into our work and building stronger connections with universities.

Different backgrounds, one CX community – and plenty of ideas to build on! by @ciklum

AI agents are moving fast. But building them reliably means solving problems that go far beyond the model.

In this edition of Tech Friday, Santhosh Kesavan, AI Architect at Ciklum, explores four developments shaping how teams build and operate AI agent systems:

• Treating agent skills as products, with testing and ownership built in
• Governing how agents access tools and APIs
• The latest changes to MCP and what they mean for infrastructure
• Why retrieval latency benchmarks can be misleading

Swipe through for the key takeaways.

AI is moving fast. We’re keeping up.

Our team in Malaga recently got together for a hands-on AI workshop. They explored AI agents and agentic platforms, diving into workflow automation, agent integration, and infrastructure – putting PRODIGY, Ciklum’s AI platform, into practice. The workshop sparked great discussions and delivered valuable insights to everyone involved.

One independence, two flags, and a place where they carry deep meaning 🇺🇦

Recently, Ciklum joined the “Flags of Independence” initiative by Ukraine WOW and the Come Back Alive Foundation. Through our donation, we received two replicas of the historic Ukrainian flag that was present when the country declared its independence.

When choosing a permanent home for these flags, one place stood out – @superhumans.center (Superhumans War Trauma Center), providing prosthetics, rehabilitation, and psychological support to veterans and civilians affected by Russia’s war against Ukraine.

It is our small tribute of gratitude to the heroes who defend Ukraine and the specialists who help them heal. by @ciklum
