One of the highlights of my visit to Rwanda 🇷🇼 last week was performing at the closing dinner of the 2023 @frenchafricanfoundation Young Leaders Program and also sharing a song I wrote inspired by all of my colleagues.

This moment where I was surrounded by them was so powerful for me and I also believe it was for them as well.
There are many lessons that being part of this program and even being in Rwanda has thought me and performing this song was my way of putting to practice some of the things I have learned. Just do it!!!

What a day!
That’s all I can say.

Some of the most important rooms are not the loudest and I was honored to be in one today and also had the honor of sharing my music with such a prominent audience.

Highlight of my day is in slide one, meeting Her Excellency @firstladykwara and sharing a moment where she held my hands and spoke kind words to me.

Another highlight was my guitar getting stuck at security and having to find a way to perform regardless and give the performance my all. There are so many lessons her for me personally.

Had the opportunity to meet and chat with the soft spoken yet powerful woman @sandhya_sabapathy and @thehungrymulatto, hearing about the work that her and her organization are doing. It’s amazing!

Lastly, the conversations in the room around sustainability and taking everyday steps towards a sustainable future in a way that connects each of us no matter our sphere of influence is something that will stay with me for a long time.

Throwback to performing at #coopera26 in Rome 🇮🇹✨ this May

Coopera 2026 is Italy’s leading multistakeholder forum on international development cooperation, convened by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.

Two nights before this performance at #coopera2026 I could barely speak. I lost my voice and honestly wasn’t sure I’d be able to sing. Between faith, rest, and chewing what felt like a lifetime’s supply of ginger, somehow my voice came through just in time.

Watching this, you’d never know what was happening behind the scenes.

Grateful I got to perform *All You’ve Got* on such a special stage. Special thanks to my family @sdgaction and the government of Italy @italymfa by @cillsoul
