AHHH I love taking photos of my ladies!!!
Kiana and I spent the day in the mountains taking photos for her new website (and gabbing as girls do) And let me tell you, she is a healer at HEART! Kiana exudes kindness, empathy, softness and her presence pretty much feels like being wrapped in a warm blanket! She is a yoga teacher, writes poetry, hosts women’s circles, retreats and other amazing community offerings. Her website is in her bio if you would like to connect with this literal angel!!! Taking photos of Myah & Josh was such a gift!! The first photo in this carousel makes me want to scream with excitement!! I knew I wanted to portray a moment of love and connection through quieter, more intimate moments in this shoot. Don’t get me wrong, I love a kiss photo (you’ll see plenty of those hehe), but I also wanted to capture the smaller moments- seated on the floor of your new home, just talking. Palpable, soft, grounded love.

With Myah telling me her father gifted her the carpets in their home, I knew it was the perfect place to portray this tender moment, in a meaningful way. It feels so damn good to see this vision come to life!!!
