Smooth as velvet in a warm wind
Is the taste you'll feel on my skin.

Sweet kisses drawn by sparkling eyes
Only if you tell no lies

Mirror vision pulls me in
Heights reached in love not sin

For how could I resist your touch
When my lips crave you this much.

Secrets kept won't be seen anymore
But results fill my blood galore

Where I'm quietly creeping.

But I could care less.

TAG ALONG

It was the strangest thing I saw one night
A Devil standing under my kitchen light
I was down the curve of my street
The ice was on the ground but my body felt heat.

I looked around and not one house light was on.
It had to be around 8 o'clock, so that was odd.
I knew my brother was at his friend's,
My Mom was at Juanitas again.

I was alone walking up that street,
thinking it would be my sister in that house I'd meet.

But as I walked I felt the air change.
I could smell in the mist the threat of rain.

I watched and swore I saw horns on the person's head
But thought it could be a hat instead

The street was steep as I began to climb,
My legs muscling up bigger than a guys.
The moon barely peeked from the mountain across the way
But its the only light I had to show my path on which I stay

I did walk up quiet hearing not a sound
From the owl in the trees
or a cricket on the ground

Then I heard a whisper from over my shoulder
I didn't jump because it sounded much older

I knew I was still alone
Walking my flesh in shoes towards my home.
But I didn't ignore the voice I heard
I started to talk using only positive words.

I said to it as it got closer to me,
"Don't you love the color of the trees?
I'm glad to know we don't leave when we're dead,
Or disappear out of ones head."

I like seeing ghosts when they come around,
It tunes my ears into every sound.
