Another one of Mae’s shots that had one of my most likes and saves last year!! It’s the little wins that remind you to keep at it. Working hard for something isn’t really work when you love what you do. . . But even if you didn’t. . . working hard builds character and strength it gives you the drive to be better. No matter what job you have you should always want to be better. Who ever wanted to be okay or mediocre?! Yah no one. Hustle for what you want in life. C O L O R B L O C K I N G . . .

Angie is such a babe rocking a little turquoise color blocking. She dabbled in a little box dye so we lifted gently to see how light we could go before choosing a color. . With fashion colors you don’t always need to lift to banana yellow to be able to deposit the color. Why push the hair if you don’t have to ! ?

Base color: Redken shades 03n
Color blocking: Lightened with @oligopro Blacklight Extra Blonde 20v, colored over with @pulpriot 1.5 oz Aquatic .5oz Nevermore

Calico peek-a-boo color blocking . . .

There were multiple things going on. Color history previously darkened, lightening for the copper color block, applying copper and double lightening for the blonde. Plus all over color. So maybe it wasn’t so hard just a lot of steps.

This might be an unpopular opinion but a partial is 9-15 foils.

PARTIALS CAN MEAN SOMETHING DIFFERENT TO EVERYONE.

One stylist’s “partial” might be 9 foils. Another stylist’s partial might be an entire section of the head.

It’s not always about the number of foils. It’s about where you place them, how much of the head you’re covering, and the result you’re trying to achieve.

A partial doesn’t automatically mean “less blonde.” Your placement, density, sectioning, and technique can completely change the outcome.

So before saying, “I only need a partial,” let’s talk about what partial means to you and, more importantly, what result you’re looking for.

Because there’s more than one way to create a beautiful dimensional blonde.

These combs are so convenient. They created the perfect blended weave. These came in all different weaving sizes. I didn’t purchase these combs they were giving to me by a friend and I’m so happy she did otherwise, to be honest I don’t think would have tried them. They came in 5 sizes with custom tooth spacing and line separation. Here’s a quick tip on how I felt was the best way to separate the excess hair.

How To Use:
Step 1: Separate a section of hair
Step 2: Insert comb under the hair and pull down firmly
Step 3: Separate top and bottom of the hair with fingers and comb
Step 4: Use the top section as your weave and insert in foil.

TAPE IN REMOVER

I used an electric tape remover which made tape removal so much easier. I’ve always had issues with tape being so sticky and hard to remove, this cut down my removal time and stickiness.

NO MORE STICKY MESS!
