5 years of @shinecameraclub and more to come. Thank you to everyone who supported us. June 2026. by @cindysashastudio
I can’t quite believe that @shinecameraclub is celebrating five years at @shinesaturdayschool in the heart of Mitcham. What started as a simple idea became possible because someone believed in it. They didn’t question the vision they simply trusted me and gave me the seed funding to make it happen. Five years later, we are still here because of the generosity of people who believe in what photography can do for children: building confidence, creativity, curiosity and a sense of belongingo. This wouldn’t be possible without the incredible support we have received over the years. Thank you to @elyswimbledon @rapideye.darkroom @catchcameras @verbatimphoto @cpbprism @chennaiphotobiennale and to those who encouraged and donated quietly championing the project. You know who you are. Thank you for everyone who joined the journey helping make Shine Camera Club what it is today 🧡💛 by @cindysashastudio

CATCHIN SHINE OUT FRIDAY ALL PROFITS DONATED TO @shinecameraclub by @cindysashastudio
Our first CATCH COLLECTIVE was shot by Edie Ashley and Joel Kerr over two weeks across Brazil and Salvador in February 2026. It shows Carnival moments in full swing, swirly streets and slow mornings reenergising in the jungle. CATCHIN SHINE celebrates real moments, overlooked perspectives and the beauty of imperfection. Inside are photos you only get when you slow down and look closer. Edie and Joel then carefully curated and annotated the edition with hand-written notes and drawings bringing the photos to life - printed, bound, and made to live off aways from screens and for you to enjoy slowly. Available to purchase later this week with all profits will donated to @shinecameraclub by @cindysashastudio
Our first print edition lands next week with all profits donated to @shinecameraclub Thank you to @edieashley and @joelkerrfilms for shooting their story and creating this special print edition. 30 pages of moments and memories with 2 left blank for you to scribble your own thoughts and ideas. by @cindysashastudio

We've made something different. A special journey, a patient collaboration and a compelling cause. CATCHIN SHINE by Edie Ashley and Joel Kerr. Shot across two weeks in Rio and Salvador this February with a CATCH camera, a few rolls of film, no phones and no retakes. What came back has been turned into a story of positivity and bright memories by Edie and Joel covering carnival blocos, string sessions and incredible views of people and places that film has a unique way of capturing. Their photos and words take you there and we are really excited to share it with you. Each one is hand-finished, includes a limited-edition print and only 100 will be available to purchase. All profits will go to Shine @shinecameraclub Stay tuned - landing soon. by @cindysashastudio
