Fourteen years deep. 🌹 BGirl City XIV Legacy Camp was more than a camp — it was a continuation. A living reminder that this culture was built by womxn who broke barriers before we ever stepped on the floor. We stand on the stones they laid, and we don’t take that lightly.

To every womxn who came before us — who fought for space, who fought for respect, who fought just to be seen in this culture — thank you. This legacy is yours as much as it is ours.

We keep building. We keep dancing. We keep showing up for each other.

Thank you to @houstonartsalliance & @houstonmoca @probreakingtour @fssworldwide @motorcitysda @outlawrock_danceforum @childofthisculture @theriveroakstheatre @fullcirclesouljahs

Roma. 🇮🇹
My inner child was over the moon. A day in Rome, all the pizza and pasta I could eat and views that photos do not do justice to. Grateful heart. ♥️

My preselection round at @summerdanceforever 💎
Of course I followed right after @tonyvmcgregor 🤣

I’ve been wanting to go to SDF for years & finally became a reality. #289 out of 300 plus entered.

Amongst other emotions, I left inspired & fulfilled. It was an honor to share the floor with so many others that I’ve learned from, watched & inspired me from afar & of course who also love the music & the dance. 😮‍💨

S/O to my husband for the extra shove to make it happen & for reminding me I’m only competing against myself.❤️‍🔥
