9 Years of OG Fan Boy Sambhavam 🥶🔥

October 18, 2017 — a day when Thalapathy Vijay brought a spectacular triple-role experience to Tamil cinema!

One carries the pain of a family. One commands the screen with the mystery of a magician. And one stands for humanity, fighting for a world where saving lives matters more than money.

Vetrimaaran. Vetri. Maaran.

Three identities, three shades of performance, and one powerful cinematic journey!

Atlee's direction, A. R. Rahman's electrifying music, S. J. Suryah's intense antagonist performance and Vijay's screen presence combine to create a film packed with emotion, suspense, action and unforgettable mass moments.

But beneath the whistles, stylish entrances and powerful dialogues lies a deeper message: medicine must serve humanity, not greed.

🔥 Mersal is more than a mass entertainer. It's emotion, social impact and Thalapathy magic woven into one cinematic experience!

THAT'S THE POWER OF MERSAL! ❤️‍🔥

🎬 Thallumaala is a 2022 Malayalam action-comedy film directed by Khalid Rahman. Starring Tovino Thomas and Kalyani Priyadarshan, the movie stands out for its energetic presentation, colourful visuals, fast-paced editing and distinctive soundtrack. The story revolves around Wazim, played by Tovino Thomas, a young man whose impulsive nature repeatedly draws him into fights. His relationship with Beepathu, played by Kalyani Priyadarshan, adds romance and complications to his already chaotic life. As conflicts build and old rivalries return, even his wedding plans become tangled in trouble. The film combines comedy, romance and stylised action in a non-linear narrative.

In Thallumaala, the combination of Tovino Thomas as Wazim and Kalyani Priyadarshan as Beepathu brings a vibrant, playful energy to the screen. Their chemistry is built around attitude, teasing, confidence and a modern kind of romance rather than traditional sentimental love. Wazim has his own swagger, while Beepathu carries confidence and individuality. Neither character feels like a passive part of the other's story, which makes their interactions lively and entertaining. Tovino's effortless charm and Kalyani's expressive performance complement each other. Their colourful styling and the film's energetic visuals make their scenes especially memorable. Their relationship isn't presented as an intensely emotional, conventional romance. It's messy, funny and full of personality — perfectly suited to the offbeat world of Thallumaala.

Sandhanam 😭🔥

🎬 Vikram (2022) is a Tamil action-thriller directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and starring Kamal Haasan in one of his most powerful action-comeback roles. Packed with intense performances, stylish action, memorable music and a stunning climax, the film became a major milestone in Tamil cinema. In Vikram, Vijay Sethupathi plays Santhanam, a ruthless gangster who operates within a dangerous criminal network. He is one of the film's central antagonists, bringing a raw, unpredictable and intimidating presence to the story. Vijay Sethupathi doesn't portray Santhanam as a conventional, stylish villain. He gives him a rough, almost casual demeanour that makes his menace feel different from the usual larger-than-life antagonist.

Prithvi 😮‍💨🔥

Khalifa: The Ruler is a 2026 Malayalam action-crime thriller starring Prithviraj Sukumaran and directed by Vysakh. The film was released in theatres on 20 August 2026. The story centres on Aamir Ali and a powerful family legacy connected to an international gold-smuggling network. Set across Kerala and international locations, the film blends family emotions, criminal rivalries, ambition and large-scale action. Prithviraj's Aamir Ali is the central attraction, while Mohanlal's appearance as Ahmed Ali adds another major star presence to the film. In Khalifa, Prithviraj Sukumaran's screen presence is the heart of the character's larger-than-life appeal. The real power of an intense performance isn't always about shouting or explosive action — sometimes, it's the silence before the storm, the fire in the eyes, and the confidence of a man who refuses to be intimidated. Prithviraj's commanding screen persona is perfectly suited to a character like Aamir Ali. A cold stare, a controlled expression and a powerful posture can create tension even before a confrontation begins. It's that feeling that something dangerous is building beneath the surface. The most compelling kind of cinematic rage isn't uncontrolled aggression. It's anger held back until the moment arrives. Aamir Ali's larger-than-life image lends itself to that contrast: calm on the outside, fierce determination underneath. The walk, the stance and the measured movements all contribute to a powerful screen presence. Prithviraj has the ability to make a character feel authoritative without needing constant dialogue. Every entrance can feel like a declaration of power. Against the backdrop of crime, family legacy and dangerous rivalries, the character's intensity becomes part of the larger cinematic experience. The appeal lies in the combination of attitude, tension and the feeling that Aamir Ali will not back down easily. by @cine_maax

Street Fighter 🥊🔥

🎬 Street Fighter (2026) is an upcoming live-action action-adventure film based on the legendary fighting video game franchise from Capcom. The film is directed by Kitao Sakurai and is scheduled for worldwide theatrical release on October 16, 2026.

Set in 1993, the story brings Ryu and Ken back into combat when Chun-Li recruits them for the World Warrior Tournament. What begins as a major fighting competition develops into a dangerous conspiracy, forcing the two fighters to confront their past and their complicated relationship.

The film aims to bring the franchise's famous characters, signature fighting moves and arcade-inspired action to live-action cinema. From Indian martial arts to the global stage — Vidyut Jammwal enters the legendary world of Street Fighter! 🔥

Vidyut plays Dhalsim, the Indian yoga master and warrior, in the upcoming live-action adaptation of Capcom's iconic video game franchise. The role marks his Hollywood debut, bringing his real-life martial arts experience to one of the franchise's most recognisable characters.

Director Kitao Sakurai wanted to bring Dhalsim to the screen in a way that felt authentic rather than like a caricature. Vidyut's martial arts background and physical control helped convince the filmmaker that he was right for the role.

JD's Love 💕

Some heroes enter the screen to entertain. Some characters enter the screen and own every second. In Master, Thalapathy Vijay gives us JD — a character who turns flaws into strength and attitude into an unforgettable screen presence!

As John Durairaj, Vijay delivers a different kind of mass performance. JD isn't introduced as a perfect hero. He's a college professor carrying personal struggles, a carefree attitude and a complicated personality. Beneath his humour and rebellious nature lies a man who must confront his own weaknesses before he can stand against a dangerous enemy.

🔥 The magic of Vijay's performance is in the attitude. The casual walk, effortless dialogue delivery, stylish looks and sudden bursts of intensity make JD captivating. Vijay balances comedy, emotion and action while giving the character a distinctive identity.

When JD faces Bhavani, played by Vijay Sethupathi, the film becomes a battle of contrasting personalities. Vijay brings the hero's charisma, while the tension between the two performances gives their confrontations their power.

And when “Vaathi Coming” takes over, JD's screen presence becomes pure theatre energy — the music, the dance and Vijay's signature style combine into a moment fans can celebrate.

Periyavane 🤍✨

🎬 Khalifa: The Intro is a Malayalam action thriller directed by Vysakh and starring Prithviraj Sukumaran. The film brings together a story of family legacy, gold smuggling and revenge, with a special appearance by Mohanlal. Prithviraj Sukumaran steps into the world of Mambarakal Aamir Ali, where family legacy meets ambition and every decision carries a price. With Vysakh's grand cinematic vision, Jakes Bejoy's powerful musical atmosphere and Mohanlal's presence adding another layer of anticipation, Khalifa builds a world designed for big-screen excitement.
From the intensity of Aamir Ali to the legacy of Mambarakal Ahmed Ali, this is a story that reaches beyond one man — it is about a name, a family and a world where the past never stays buried. “Periyavane” is a song from the Malayalam movie Khalifa: The Ruler starring Prithviraj Sukumaran. With Jakes Bejoy’s musical brilliance, the soulful voices of Vijay Yesudas and Sanjith Salam, and Muthu’s lyrics, this song adds another musical dimension to the world of Khalifa. Every note carries its own emotion, every rhythm builds the atmosphere, and the music draws us deeper into the film’s cinematic universe.

Prithvi's iconic walk 😭🔥

Some actors make an entry. Some actors create a moment. And then there is Prithviraj Sukumaran — whose screen presence can turn a simple walk into a cinematic statement!

His confident body language, intense eyes, controlled expressions and powerful screen presence make his mass moments memorable. Whether it's the commanding attitude of Kaduva or the intense atmosphere of Kaapa, he knows how to make every step feel meaningful.

When Prithviraj Sukumaran starts walking, the frame transforms, the background score rises, and every step carries the weight of a powerful character. No unnecessary movements. No forced attitude. Just pure screen presence, confidence, and cinematic intensity!

When Prithviraj Sukumaran steps into Khalifa, the walk itself becomes a statement of power, attitude, and screen presence. Every step carries an aura of mystery, every movement builds anticipation, and his commanding personality brings that larger-than-life cinematic energy.
This is the kind of moment that makes fans wait for the background score to explode and the theatre to erupt. It's not just about how he walks — it's about the power he brings to the frame! 💥

Khalifa is a Malayalam action drama directed by Vysakh, starring Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead role, with Mohanlal appearing as Mambarakkal Ahmed Ali. The film was released in theatres on August 20, 2026. The story follows Aamir Ali, a young man whose peaceful family life becomes entangled with the dangerous world of gold smuggling and revenge. Family emotions, action sequences and the legacy of the Mambarakkal family drive the narrative. One of the film's most talked-about moments is the security guards' fight during the home invasion. The sequence drew attention for shifting the spotlight away from the main hero and onto the guards themselves. The security guards’ fight sequence in Khalifa stands out as one of the film’s most unexpected action highlights. The home-invasion sequence pits the guards against attackers at the Mambarakkal house, giving these supporting characters a rare chance to take centre stage.
