Identical car nights before rolled out half way done. I stay determined even if it means starting over again 🤷🏽‍♂️

In no particular order..
Some of my favourite themed productions from throughout the past few sun rotations, some stronger than others. A quiet reminder for me to keep up with my characters, which I find I have been neglecting for the past year or so.

Some from 2024 didn’t make the edit, but here’s a few to ponder.

Painted these owls for @wickedwoodsmusicfestival this year, different this time around considering the last time I was here I was performing on the Ursus stage for the hip hop showcase 3 years ago along side dope artists like @def3
Awesome to see some old friends @kerz.xxv @zeka.xi @art.by.robyn - we transformed a whole alley in Edmonton together alongside some other cool artists many moons ago!

This year I had a chance to relax more and spend more time in my creative element. Rapping is cool but there’s such an intense build up until the moment you step on stage. I miss that, but I also love actually taking a step back to think and ponder different creative decisions when it comes to painting with aerosol on something I’m actually allowed to paint. I forget sometimes that I’m an artist lol

No plan no rhyme or reason to this one, just always wanted to paint an owl and threw together the rest. Used to see them a lot painting trains. Story time with Cinel, this one owl used to pirch up on the ladder when I was painting hoppers. I didn’t actually notice him at first, Wizard Why did. “Yo look to your right” thing was like 3 feet from my face because Why was gracious enough to take the numbers and I pushed my shit right to the ladder. This would happen for about 3 months, about once a week. If you’ve been around owls they are terrifying, making no sound when they fly. If I had a dollar for the amount of times we’ve been in the yard and I’ve been able to tell a worker was walking by on the other side of the line by a feeling long before hearing or seeing them, then I’d be loaded. When you’re in the yard you become an owl, senses are heightened and sometimes you just know shit based on how you feel. Maybe that’s part of the reason i felt inclined to use them as a focal point 🤷🏽‍♂️
