On the morning of May 9, Professor Richard Hobbs, Executive Chancellor of Oxford University visited Beijing Film Academy. The delegation had on-site communication with Vice President Li Wei and the teacher and students of the International Program who were doing the practice filming in studio.

Face structure shooting demonstrated by Wayne Yueliu Li, the teacher of Commercial Video Production. Students from 2022 international program used vintage lens such as Hugo, Leica R, Cooke Panchro FF, Canon FD0.95, Petzval, Mamiya645, Pentax645, etc for filming and got more understanding of the imaging and characteristics brought by the lens.

Recently, cinematography department invited cinematographer Wang Boxue (Class of 2004 undergraduate student, Class of 2008 Masters student) to give a sharing lecture to students.
The lecture revolved around the workflow and methods of cinematographers, establishment of image styles, and ways for self-improvement. Wang Boxue shared his own experience and practical cases with students.

Recently, the cinematography department invited cinematographer Lucano to share on camera stabilizers to the students.
Lucano introduced the evolution process of camera stabilizers, the transition between two and three axis, the effects that STEADICAM could capture, the differences and improvements between TRINITY and TRINITY 2, and the differences in shooting effects between STEADICAM and TRINITY.
Through the introduction, students learned about the shooting methods of different devices and explored more possibilities for lenses.
Students gained a lot from fully experiencing the operation of TRINITY and STEADICAM.

Isabella Delacroix (the one on the far left in the picture) from class of 2022 international program of the cinematography department, won the Cultural Promotion Contribution Award in the "Foreign Culture and Trade" Talent Selection Competition for her work "Heaven, Earth, and Man".
