Thank you to @cinesoulforever and the @californiafilmchannel for welcoming our film, celebrating Black storytelling, and honoring @respectmycrown1 as Outstanding Feature Documentary. It was especially important for us to share this universal story about Black women in leadership in our state’s capital, where so much of the history chronicled in the film was made. A few moments from The Bucket Wish Q&A section with Ericka Nicole Malone and Vincent Dee Miles at @cinesoulforever 2026 by @californiafilmchannel August 23th, 2026.

The film and her story were inspiring, but her powerful energy and presence speak for themselves.

Here are a few of my favorite moments I want to keep coming back to.

Thank you @erickanicolemalone l for inspiring all of us ❤️ taken in California Railroad Museum, Old Town Sacramento by @cinesoulforever

So real talk... I received a troubling medical "diagnosis" several months ago and had been quietly undergoing treatment. During that time, I was not allowed to travel.

This is the first time in nearly six months that I was finally able to hit the road for a new adventure!!

Thanks to all of the Intercessors who continue to pray for and with me, BIG LOVE to Amber and Janice and Melinda ❤️❤️❤️

Thanks to the @just.us.movie cast and crew and supporters!!! This little film is doing BIG things.

Thanks to the @sacramentofilmfestival and @cinesoulforever team! Always a good time with you all!

Working on tons of new things. The journey continues. ADVENTURE IS OUT THERE! by @cinesoulforever

WE WON TWO!!! 🏆🏆🙌🏾🎬

What an incredible weekend for RECALL!

On the SAME DAY, we found out that Recall won:

🏆 Outstanding Surreal Short Film at the CineSoul Sacramento Black Film Festival
🏆 Best Sci-Fi at the Hip Hop Film Festival

Two festivals. Two different cities. Two wins. 🙏🏾

I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who helped bring this film to life… and to everyone who has come out to a screening, shared the trailer, sent a message, or supported us along the way.

We made Recall hoping to tell a meaningful story about hope, healing, faith and what happens when you refuse to stop searching for answers.

To see audiences and festivals connecting with it like this means more than I can say.

And the festival run isn’t over yet… 🎬👀

RECALL
“Not just a search… but a prayer.” 🙏🏾
