Mollywood Times is a bold coming-of-age satire that takes a refreshingly cynical look at the Malayalam film industry through the eyes of an aspiring filmmaker. Instead of being another "love letter to cinema," it questions the industry's politics, compromises, and obsession with success. Naslen delivers one of his most mature performances, while the writing mixes dark humor with emotional moments. Abhinav Sunder Nayak keeps the storytelling unconventional, making it a film that rewards patience but may not appeal to everyone. Critics and audiences have been divided—many praised its originality and performances, while others felt its pacing and experimental style held it back. by @cinewave.__

Joe is a romantic drama that follows the emotional journey of a young man navigating love, heartbreak, and healing, set against college life and later adulthood.
The story centers on Joe, an ordinary yet deeply sensitive individual whose life is shaped by his intense experiences with love. During his engineering college days, he falls deeply in love with a classmate. Their relationship feels genuine and youthful, filled with small moments, friendships, and the excitement of first love. However, circumstances, misunderstandings, and family pressures slowly create distance between them, leaving Joe heartbroken and emotionally lost.

Unable to move on from this past, Joe struggles internally, carrying emotional baggage that affects his outlook on life. As time passes, he enters an arranged marriage with Shruthi, a strong-willed woman who has her own unresolved past. What begins as a new chapter in his life turns complicated, as both individuals find it difficult to accept each other fully. Their relationship is not built on instant love but on conflict, hesitation, and emotional distance.

The film then explores how two broken individuals attempt to coexist while dealing with lingering memories of their past relationships. Through everyday interactions, misunderstandings, and gradual emotional shifts, the narrative focuses on whether love can grow after heartbreak and whether closure is truly possible.
Without revealing its major twists, Joe is less about dramatic events and more about emotional evolution—how people change, how past love shapes present choices, and how healing sometimes comes in unexpected ways. It blends college romance, personal struggles, and mature relationship dynamics into a heartfelt, relatable story.
