Thank you for tagging me @joyreadsbuku
This was fun, but also tough to narrow it down to just five in each category. I took a few liberties and tweaked some of the prompts a bit.

I didn’t tag anyone because I know not everyone is comfortable with tags. If you’re okay with being tagged in future bookish posts, let me know in the comments🤍

Here is my super ambitious physical TBR! Who knows if I’ll actually stick to it, considering I have multiple loans and holds on Libby and several ARCs on NetGalley😫 Wish me luck!🤞

Hi, my bookish friends!

I compiled a collection of books under 300 pages. Whether you’re looking for a quick read, trying to squeeze in more books, or just love a short but impactful story, I’ve got you covered!

Have you read any of these? And what’s your favorite book under 300 pages? I’m always looking for more books to add to my TBR👀

I did a thing! I signed up for NetGalley, and He Had It Coming was my first approval! 🤗 So, here goes nothing!

He Had it Coming - Darby Kane
📖: 97 pages
🗓️: October 6, 2026

Synopsis🩸

Jerek Hayes thinks he’s gotten away with murder. It’s been eight years since his family’s wealth and power saved him from facing the consequences, but now someone calling themselves Anonymous is revealing the truth about what really happened, bringing attention back to his crime and jeopardizing his plans to overthrow his older sister, Maeve, and take over the family business.

Jerek is convinced he knows exactly who Anonymous is—the victim’s sister, of course. In his cocky, egotistical mind, everything is under control. He can simply use the company’s resources, ignore the situation, and make it all go away. But things are about to take a very different turn for Jerek.

My review:

I enjoyed this story and finished it in one sitting. It builds quickly, and once it gets going, it doesn’t let up. I really enjoyed the level of female rage here—it’s chaotic and vengeful, but at the same time controlled and thoughtful. Readers who enjoy themes of female rage, revenge, and psychological suspense will enjoy this one.

Proud Peruvian here!🇵🇪 In case you couldn’t already tell from the photos, haha

I have such great memories tied to all these incredibly talented artists—authors, musicians, and actors alike—who represent the richness, complexity, and diversity of our Latine and Hispanic communities❤️

Latine/Hispanic literature isn’t one genre or one experience. These are some book recs I’ve collected throughout the years to add to your TBR. I’m excited to read a lot more this month!

Of course, I had to include music! Music and my soul are forever connected🤞 Here are some new and some older bangers that I’ll never get tired of 🎧

Did you grow up watching any of these? IYKYK. by @cinfullybooked

Hi, bookish friends!

I’ll miss the warmer weather because I love being able to go outside, read, and enjoy nature, but I also love fall. There’s just something about cozy weather, sweaters, fallen leaves, and cuddling up under the covers to watch my favorite spooky movies👻

But what I’m really looking forward to? Finding deliciously dark stories to sink my teeth into😬

Here’s to the Ber months!🍁🍂🤗

What are you looking forward to this fall?

I thought I had a little book nook, but it turns out it’s not as small as I thought…

Apparently, ‘small’ is subjective when you have hundreds of books. So naturally, I had to go through my entire little library to find the perfect books for this game—and honestly, it was pretty damn fun.

Turns out, my ‘little’ library has a lot to say about my reading habits, but at least I have excellent taste📚🤷🏻‍♀️

I also want to thank @sarahwsbookshelf for the idea!😊
