Did you know that Malta has an abundance of wrecks, especially historical ones? 👀During World War I and World War II, Malta was a highly strategic location in the Mediterranean. As a result, many ships and aircraft were sunk or shot down around the islands. Today, these wrecks rest on the seabed and serve as fascinating reminders of Malta’s wartime history. Here you’ll find a collection of historical wrecks (from 30-65 meters) — though not all of them. Guess I haven’t done this in a while, so here are some fun facts about me 👀:1. I’m from Bavaria, Germany.2. I have a Master’s degree in Biology, although I’m not really using it at the moment. I’ll most likely pursue a PhD soon 👀 3. I hate tomatoes and aubergines — but somehow tomato sauce is totally fine.4. I’m always cold. My perfect comfort temperature is around 35°C haha.5. I love organization — pretty stereotypically German, I guess.6. No one else in my family dives — I’m the only one.7. My favorite colors are blue and black.8. If I had to eat one food for the rest of my life, it would be pasta.9. I can equalize without pinching my nose or moving my jaw — pretty helpful!10. Welcome to my brain 🧠 Sometimes I need to remind myself how far I’ve come. My mind is a perfectionist — in diving and in photography. I second-guess my technique, my shots, my timing... always feeling like there’s skill to master better or a better angle I missed. Sometimes I edit photos and let them sit for weeks before I actually think they’re ‘good’ enough. So much of my process goes into editing - bringing photos to life through my own creative vision. I often hear people say ‘it’s just a photo,’ but there’s so much more to it than pressing a button. It all comes down to the conditions you’re shooting in and the creative vision you bring to post-production.
