Good morning,

I hope you are having a wonderful start to your day.

I am sharing a picture of what might be my final cuttings from my zinnia patch for the season. One of the many things I truly love about zinnias is their wonderful ability to bloom continuously all season long.

I also wanted to share a encouraging passage with you today from Psalm 143:8:

“Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life.”

Wishing you a peaceful and blessed day ahead. by @cinnamon.tree

It’s November!!! The older I get it seems time passes so fast.

This shelf is filled with old books my Dan and I collected over the years. An array of different subjects, mostly children’s books, classics and early school books. The two wooden boxes on the top shelf on the right are bride boxes, known for keeping special mementos and treasures in a safe place. My Dan gifted me those boxes years ago. The thoughts of a young bride having a brides box for her treasures is such a lovely thought.

Simple joys. I took a few things into the shop yesterday and did some fluffing. (Cinnamon Tree Antiques in Pendleton Antique Place, Pendleton,SC)

One of the things I took in was an old clothes washing tub. My Dan made a makeshift top so we could use as a lamp table on our screen porch.

It’s bittersweet letting go of so many things we collected over the years, each with a story to tell, but the sweetness comes with the hope that they will add as much joy to whoever buys it as it did for us collecting and having them live in our home.

Hope you sweet friends have had a great start to July.
