TRAUM.

I created this instrumental a while back, it came from a place of constantly being in survival mode.

Battling depression, ADHD, anxiety, self doubt, loneliness all while trying to make sense of the world where we’re constantly exposed to suffering and traumatic events through our screens.

Sometimes I feel like I’m being drowned by the constant noise and I have no idea what to do or which direction to go.

I’m not good at putting emotions into words, so I put them into sound. And what came out was a wave of emotions. Moments of chaos, holding anger, sadness and tension.

This sound hopefully takes you through the different states of what I was feeling and still feel some days.

This is what survival mode sounds like to me. This is TRAUM. Out now. by @cinosound

Made this remix a while back for a beat battle I went to in Washington DC, wanted to see what @champagnepapi would sound like on a West Coast beat and it’s pretty dope 🔥 I also added Kendrick’s voice in the background to sound like it’s from Drake’s thoughts 🤣. Oh I also added some @jheneaiko 😏 but favourite part of this remix is after Jhene sings, that synth is crazy 🔥 What’s your favourite part?

Hey! I made a remix of Kendrick Lamar’s ‘Peekaboo’ from his GNX album, mixing his signature style with the funky grooves of Nu Disco and the laid-back vibes of Neo Soul. Inspired by Kaytranada’s smooth, soulful beats, I wanted to see what Kendrick would sound like over a rhythm that’s got both depth and energy. It’s got that groovy, bass-driven vibe with smooth and jazzy chords, but still feels personal...like you’re vibing with Kendrick’s voice in a whole new way. I brought my own sound to it while staying true to that unique Kendrick vibe. Thank you all for listening! FULL REMIX IN BIO 👆🏿

Do you think @kendricklamar should try to tap in to some more Nu Disco/Modern Funk ? by @cinosound
