someone asked me what I was most grateful for the other day & I pretty instinctively said my dad. I just made a video for a poem I wrote about my mom and how I’ve experienced Jesus more through her than anyone else in my life. While that is true, I’ve been able to experience what God the father is like so much through my earthly dad. His encouragement, correction, steadfastness, provision, unconditional love, and an inexpressible bond. I don’t take lightly what a privilege that is. Time is a thief, I wish we could both stop getting older… happy birthday to my best friend :) by @cintryrae
