Back in the summer of 2022, I got a very cool call to Field Produce a new docuseries about the search for the next global pop music girl group, a Spice Girls 2.0.

120,000 girls auditioned from all over the world and in October of that year I moved to LA to film the training program with the 20 girls that were selected and narrowed down to 6 final group members. Had a blast with our incredible crew and love these girls to pieces!!

Laughed hysterically each day and learned so much working with my favorite hilarious, ingeniously talented crew. And every minute of footage left me constantly in awe of the grit and glitter of these incredibly talented athletes 😭 So much to say but for now,

Found Photos Sunday Series - Week 3 ✨

Longtime followers may recognize a few of these but for new friends: This Week 3 batch comes from a box of slides my dad saw on the curb in my hometown like 7ish years ago. After going thru a few dozen slides, I realized that these photos were taken by a woman who went to my same high school 50 years before I did. There are sooo many that I love from this collection bc they captured perfect candid moments with the most incredible light… It actually pains me to think that these images were on their way to landfill!

Clip from my senior thesis •The Mary Jane Project•
A short documentary piecing together the life of my aunt Mary Jane: a shy, music loving, ‘62 red Ford Fairlane driving, Harper Woods teenage girl who died unexpectedly from a drug overdose in 1971. The 30min piece is comprised of recorded interviews with family, cold-calling her best friends, her boyfriend, the neighborhood kids, 8mm home movies, and Mary Jane’s reel-to-reel recordings of her favorite songs on the radio.
