It must be a safety thing, especially in light wind. We all did it when winging.

But honestly, I see no reason not to stash the parawing once you've stowed it. The moment you commit, it does two things:

It tells your brain it's game time, so you switch into full focus.

It gets the lines out of your face, frees up your hand, opens up your body, and lets you concentrate on linking proper carves.

Think about it... if you're going to hold something in your hand, you might as well bring a selfie stick.

That's definitely the way to go in 2026 🤣🤣🤣

Getting pretty frothy when you find a bargain that actually has a purpose.

I'm heading back to Hungary—the landlocked country with no sea, just a few lakes—so there was no point risking my downwind SUP with the airline for the sake of one or two flatwater sessions.

In the early stages, riding big foils is a sign of learning and our ego want to go smaller as soon as possible. A few years later, rediscovering big and efficient foils can be more beneficial than you think, riding a big foil with style is a sign progression and understanding of quiver.

The 235 Evolution 10 AR can be surfed, preffered sup foiled and the new Quantum downwind stab has totally transformed it into a beast of a small wave, low evenrgy weapon 😍

Sorry not sorry but you will see me riding bigger foils this summer and stay up on foil as long as I can.
