CABA-RAVE — Friday 25 September

SECRET SASQUATCH SOCIETY + CREATURE CAVE PRESENT:

CABA-RAVE at the Whakamana Cannabis Museum🍃
(19 Beresford Square, Auckland Central)

We’re kicking things off at 6pm with a proper cabaret style show. We have a variety of amazing acts lined up to keep you amazed and entertained — glamour, questionable behavior and some good old-fashioned sitting down and watching things happen.
Then, at around 8pm, we’re turning the lights down and the bass UP. The Creature Cave will be serving up some absolutely filthy bass with their takeover until 10:30pm.

CABA-RAVE.
A bit of cabaret.
A bit of rave.
A questionable amount of Sasquatch. by @circus.noodle

There really is no way to express how incredible resonance was.

A whole festival full of my favourite music and DJs with truly amazing energy on the dancefloor.
A wonderful community that looked after each other and the space so well.
And so much beautiful art everywhere, VJs, flow artists, dancers, and of course the stage itself.

Thank you to everyone who came, played, danced, created, or contributed, it was magical 💚

A reflection on Handstand February

This was my first time successfully making it through the whole month. I survived despite slightly injuring my shoulder and a rib in the first week, and spending most of the month sick with colds and flu.

I feel a lot more confident in my handstands and had a lot of fun playing with shapes. Being sure to post every day is stressful and I'm glad that's over.

It was amazing to see everyone else's handstands and it really motivated me to keep going, special shout outs to
@mitchell_pitch_circus
@elliemaymarshall
@melissajadephotography
And @flying.tiger.monkey
For keeping me inspired

See y'all next year for another #handstandfebruary by @circus.noodle
