Part 1 🌙✨ Living my Sailor Moon dreams! It was such a joy to perform a hula hoop routine while cosplaying my favorite childhood heroine, Sailor Moon. I only had two weeks to bring this performance to life, and I was SO excited that I pulled it off!

Also… can I get some props for performing in this wig? 😆

If you love hula hooping, cosplay, or anime, I hope you enjoy this one as much as I loved creating it. 😊

I need more sparkly rhinestone costumes! Any recommendations?

Also, here is a fun and sparkly throwback. ✨ I love this costume paired with my LEDs. 😊🪩.

I LOVE a playful and engaging build up to a trick! 🤹‍♀️. Engaging with the audience is what I enjoy the most when I perform. How do you engage/interact with your audience?

Why stop at one hula hoop when you can spin six? I may have a bit of a hoop addiction but that’s a good thing right? 😆

I enjoyed performing my hula hoop routine as part of the Breakthrough Entertainment circus show for a hot air balloon festival in San Antonio. These are my favorite types of performances.

Comment if you relate. 😆. This is actually really accurate for me! 🤣.

I am either the hula hoop performer leaving the house with an unreasonable number of hula hoops or the local goblin who has zero concerns about how she looks.

Learn how to add a little Foldy Flair to your three hoop cascade! In this hula hoop juggling tutorial, I’ll break down how to add a fold variation to the classic 3 hoop cascade for a fun, stylish way to add some flair to a classic hoop juggling pattern.

This is a great trick to try if you’re looking for new ways to add flair to your hula hoop juggling flow. This is a great one for beginners who just learned the cascade and are ready to progress in their hula hoop juggling journey.

Practice the basic three hoop cascade first, then add the fold once the pattern feels comfortable!

Welcome to part 4 of Hoop Juggling for Beginners. Today I am talking about dwell time.

Dwell time is how long the hoop stays in your hand before you throw it again.

A shorter dwell speeds up your juggling pattern, while a longer dwell slows it down; without having to change the height of your throws.

Dwell time also plays a big role in finding a consistent rhythm, and it’s something beginner jugglers often struggle with.

I hope you enjoy this hula hooping juggling tutorial.

Check out this silly juggling throwback inspired by classic catching games! 😆 watch til the end for a silly finale.

During the pandemic, I got really into combining juggling, circus arts, and video editing as a creative outlet. This was one of a handful of juggling video projects I made during that time, playing with editing to turn a simple juggling sequence into something a little more fun. I definitely leaned into the silliness with these 🤪.

I haven’t made a juggling edit like this in a while because they take SO much time, but watching this again kind of makes me want to create another one. 👀

I originally got the idea from another juggler who was making creative juggling videos and editing projects around that time, but I cannot remember who it was. 🤔

One of my favorite things about performing for kids is getting to go BIG. Big colors, big energy, and of course, lots and lots of hoops. 😆. Who else loves to go BIG?

I’ve been having so much fun bringing my hoop skills into family shows with @hooporama. It’s a different kind of creative challenge figuring out how to turn the tricks I love into a show that gets kids laughing, cheering, and excited about movement.
