✨ The Hootenanny 2026 ✨

I had such a magical time hosting and performing at the Hootenanny!! Thank you so much @denounce.normalcy for giving me the chance to be a part of this once in a lifetime magical experience :) if someone told me that I’d be getting in drag in the middle of the woods of Savannah, Georgia when it was raining and like 90 degrees out,,, I wouldn’t have believed them, but I’m so glad I did it!! I got to sacrifice and put cigarettes out on @jace_plyuckzhinsky, be freaky with a bunch of queer people, and splash around in sludge.. all in drag and basically naked!! Literally so fun!!!!!!

Words cannot do justice to how this experience felt 🖤 thank you to each and every person who has played a role in getting me here, I’m am so beyond grateful. To my friends, family (drag and otherwise), partner, peers, professors, community, and anyone else who has helped me along the way, thank you so much, I couldn’t have done this without you- genuinely!
Queer students on campus have been made to feel unsafe and unwelcome by administration. Queer people around the world have been made to feel unsafe and unwelcome by our governments and bigots who serve to perpetuate hate and fear.
Despite this all, we are not going anywhere. Queer people have existed for as long as humanity has, and queerness will continue to exist long into the future. I have the privilege of being able to be hyper visible in my queerness because of my drag, and I say that’s a privilege because there are people in my community and around the world who are not able to openly express themselves and be visibly queer, because it is dangerous for them. Whether you have to remain hidden or are able to be as visible as a drag queen, I see you and I love you! You have a community of people who see and love you. I’ll say this again, WE ARE NOT GOING ANYWHERE!
As queer people, we need to come together to uplift our siblings and work together to create a better present and future for our community, as well as a better present and future for all of those who are suffering globally. We need to learn, grow, and build together, we are all so capable of those things!!
Anywho! Thank you again to everyone who has been a part of my journey, my degree is not a sole reflection of myself, but of every moment and person who has played a hand in getting me here. As a first generation high school and now college graduate (with a double major in Psychology and Women’s and Gender Studies!!) I am just beyond grateful and happy over this achievement. Mostly, I’m just excited to have some free time, the degree is pretty cool too though

Another lovely week of DMTV at @dudleys_charleston 🖤 this was such a massive step outside of my comfort zone with my impersonation of my angel sister @susu.serenity and even with this walk-around look, so I really appreciate everyone hyping me up and giving me so much love for what I presented last night. Here’s to the top 4!!! ✨

✨🦇Week 4 of Drag Me to Victory - The Vampire Ball 🦇✨
I had the most fun ever putting on this performance at @dudleys_charleston for week 4 of DMTV, what a joy it was to bring my alt drag to this stage 🖤 speaking of my alt drag… come to my show tonight!!! @thehauntchs is THE alt drag show of CHS and is nominated as one of the best drag shows for @chascitypaper (vote at the link in my bio for The Haunt and for me as best drag queen!!!!), so come out tonight if you want to see some pretty ladies throwing it down to some killer tunes ;p I’m so beyond words over how this competition has been going so far, I’m so proud of all the work I’ve put into this and I’m so excited for what’s to come :’)🖤

My busiest month for drag yet!!!! And such a busy and fulfilling month outside of drag too! I am so incredibly blessed and grateful to have the opportunity to live this life that I’m living :’) I am surrounded by so much love and support and radical queerness, and when I take the time to think about what I have it makes me very emotional. Not everything is perfect, the people who are close to me know first hand that this month had some bad lows, but at the end of the day I am just so grateful for the tools and support systems I have to keep myself going and the opportunities that I’ve been given to do what I love. A few other events this month that I didn’t get pictures during, but I cherish those moments all the same in my memory- thank you to everyone who has continued to support and encourage me and my freaky gay endeavors 🖤🖤🖤

So sorry to Other Lands for getting Trump guts on the floor 😔 but also thank you SO MUCH to @auroratheogsteppa for letting me use and destroy a real guitar that they just had lying around for this number, you’re a real one!!!

Well, they got me gal!! What an absolutely amazing experience it was to be able to compete in the @charlestonpride pageant last Thursday. I’m so proud of myself and what I brought to the stage. I scored very well with every judge but one, who I think just didn’t really understand my drag (which is okay!) and for my first time competing in a pageant of this caliber, I really could not be more proud of myself. The feedback, love, and support I’ve received before, during, and after the show is something that I’m so grateful for and wouldn’t trade for the world. There are things I wish would’ve gone differently, definitely wish they didn’t lose the bios that I wrote for everything 😭 but all things considered, I am so happy with how it went. At the end of the day, a title or a crown cannot encapsulate what I bring with my drag, and should never act as a substitute for action. I implore all of my fellow drag artists, especially those who are now on the Charleston Pride Court: use your platform, use your voice, and do not remain complicit in comfort. We as artists, ESPECIALLY drag artists, have obligations to our community to be beacons of change, resistance, and joy. Please remember where our roots are, drag is not just about looking pretty and dancing around to music: it’s political!!! Use your platforms, use your voice, be the change you want to see, and INSPIRE the change you want to see.
