i had the honor of premiering my new rope at at the Sanctuary cabaret last night @aloftcircusarts :) this act has been my summer project… created over the past two months, an amalgamation of bits of research from my time at @ecoledecirquedequebec and new artistic visions. i wanted to explore the personification of the rope, creating a duo with my apparatus, giving life to this being who holds me in the sky. i feel very lucky to be in this beautiful, supportive space to share this work. (and if you’re interested in hiring a rope act, this one is ready to go ☺️) i love chicago so much so far! spending my days in rehearsals for The Pieces and exploring the city. I will be teaching two workshops at Aloft in two weeks. Rope and Acrodance. More information is coming, but spots are limited and you can sign up through the link in my bio now :) special thanks to everyone who helped me in this creative process, everyone who stepped in as my rigger, and everyone who gave me feedback. nothing happens without community. #circus #circusarts #acro #acrobatics #circuseverydamnday #circusaroundtheworld #aerial #aerialist #aerialrope #aerialsilks by @cirquessner
