What a wild weekend full of fights!

1 correction to prevent this Injury #boxing

When you watch clips of technical boxing training this technical cue is often missed or not discussed. It should be.

Watch this video with Nate bower from Nate Bower Fitness and Olympic coach Wayne Gordon to determine if you are at risk of injury when throwing the left hook boxing combination.

Some drills that encourage a wide looping hook may not be the best option for you. Here’s the reason why.

Understanding how to keep the fist in front of the shoulder with a tighter or more controlled rotation will put less stress on shoulder capsule and bicep. If you ignore it it can be detrimental. Especially if you have weakness and instability in your joint.

Remember, it’s important to learn techniques to throw a punch and make contact and but it’s also important to know what happens if you miss and stress a joint with improper technique over and over.

This reel will help you understand how subtle changes can make a big difference.

After a week of resting and recovering from our event we want to thank everyone who came out and made this event a success.
With a sold out crowd, the boxers fighting their hearts out, coaches brining out the best in their fighters and the officials who give their time so generously to the sport of boxing, we thank you all! Our success wouldn’t exist without you!
