Things to add to your Indy fall bucket list Pt. 1 - @tuttleorchards 🍎

This is the kinda place I’m excited to take my kids to one day, I can just picture them bumbling around the pumpkin patch, sipping their first apple cider slushy and making memories together 🥹

Can never skip an apple cider slushy or an apple cider cinnamon sugar donut - and they make them fresh!

Pick a bag full of apples - we love making apple crisp every year with the ones we get from Tuttle’s!

Tuttles has no GA fees and parking is free! The farmyard with lots of kids activities is $10 per person but that covers everything you’d want to do here from the wagon rides, corn maze, giant slide, goats!

Check their website for the current apples they have ready to pick - you can snag pumpkins until Halloween too!

Halloween is the last day for the farmyard and u-pick season!! Be sure to plan your cutie fall dates or girls trips asap

@tuttleorchards is open Monday - Saturday (closed sundays) from 9 AM - 7 PM

I recently hit my one year at @cvrindy and it’s been SUCH a learning experience! Thought I’d share a few tidbits of what I’ve been learning 🥹

- share your profesh development - I try to take notes when I read articles, see industry update posts on social, intriguing takes on substack - this helps me so much when going back to where the thought came from and how I can share it with my team

- everything may take longer but it will benefit from multiple perspectives - freelance was sooo go go go and I’m learning that in agency world, taking the time to run things through multiple minds and hear from all the voices involved creates a more cohesive end product and allows for room to ask WHY

- if it’s broke, fix it - speak up when you feel like a process isn’t working or if there’s a different way you can do it - most people are more open to change than you’d think

- don’t get silo’d - book the 1:1s with team members you don’t often get to work with on projects, learn the ins and outs of what people at your work actually do at work!

- no idea is too weird - say the thing that keeps you up at 3 am out loud because it may become the next great campaign your team creates - being open to clear and direct feedback helps here if something just isn’t working too

- protecting my time - especially with a side hustle that happens to benefit the work I do in my 9-5, setting aside time to touch grass, be present with friends and read a book or two never hurts (and unfortunately and fortunately can be the inspo you were needing for an idea at work lol)

We did the @spartan Doubles 10K together and somehow lived to tell about it 😅

Jacob took on basically every upper body obstacle (carries, climbs, you name it) and I handled the more nimble stuff like the barbed wire crawl (but also crushed the Herc Hoist) and it turns out playing to your strengths as a team makes the impossible feel a little more possible. Plus, crossing the finish line and not getting lit on fire together just deepened our bond hehe

GROWING ROOTED PT. 3 - Planting + Harvesting 🪏🪴👩🏼‍🌾🍅

Welcome to the final part of my first time gardener series - I am such a ‘done is better than perfect’ person and gardening realllyyyy refined that in me 😅 I definitely could’ve consulted Google or a trusted old lady to truly steward my garden well. BUT I did really enjoy all of the cherry tomatoes that keep on coming 🙂‍↕️😋

Looove me a meal prep Sunday 🙂‍↕️

As someone who “accidentally” eats two week old leftovers, meal prep is love, meal prep is life hehe 😅 Made some classic red beans + rice and the viral beef broth bowls this week!
