Weโ€™ve installed new lighting at Menzies Park to improve playing conditions for the @mhcardinalsjfc and other sporting clubs ๐Ÿ’ก

The lights give teams more flexibility to play and train in the evenings.

They also benefit people who exercise, play in the playground or walk their dog.

Thanks to the @wagovernment and @cits_wa for supporting the project.

The Perth Reclink Community Cup was a kicking success over the weekend, with the event making its new home at Menzies Park in Mt Hawthorn๐Ÿˆ

The AFL match pits journalists, musicians, politicians and industry types against each other battling it out to claim the Community Cup. Participants work before and during the event to raise funds to go directly into Reclink Australia's programs that provide sports, recreation and arts opportunities for disadvantaged Australians.

Bangropers took the win 39 to 34, over the Newshounds in an exciting match, while eventgoers enjoyed live music, activities and plenty of community spirit throughout the day.

Did you attend the event? We want to hear from you, follow the link in our bio.
