When we show up, we shape what comes next.

Early voting is open through August 1 for the August 6 Primary. Across Tennessee, people are making time before work, after work, and on weekends to cast their ballots and refuse to let a redrawn map be the last word on who has power in this state.

Governors, senators, representatives, and local leaders are all on this ballot. These offices make real decisions about the communities we call home. Showing up for them is how we protect them.

Tennessee is our home and we do not hand it over without a fight.

✅ Confirm locations and hours at proudvoter.org or your county election commission website. A Tennessee is Home: Protect the South early voting graphic with a dark blue and purple background featuring two people standing together in front of the Tennessee State Capitol, one holding a sign that reads "I Understand the Assignment." The Protect the South and Tennessee 2026 Elections logos appear at the top alongside proudvoter.org. Bold text reads "Primary and General Election" and "Early Voting Happening Now" with a gold banner listing dates as Friday, July 17 through Saturday, August 1. Smaller text reads "From Memphis to Morristown; from the Smokies to the Mississippi River, Tennesseans like you are joining together to vote in the August 6 Primary and General Election." A second line reads "Elections have a direct and immediate impact on your daily life, influencing everything from the cost of living to whether or not your freedoms are protected." A "Become a proudvoter" banner appears at the bottom. taken in Tennessee by @civictn

Tennessee was just ranked the worst state to live in America.

15 years of bad leadership has led to this embarrassing win for our state. Its time we tell Tennessee leaders that we deserve better.

Voting is Disability Pride y’all! Be sure to check your registration status and research the candidates running for office in your area. It is more important than ever that we cast our votes for candidates that are going to protect and honor disability rights! Black and white hand drawn image of the US Capitol titled “Voting is Disability pride!.” There are 4 disabled people in front of the Capitol, one in a wheelchair, one using crutches, one a walker, and the last a white cane. Also shown are the logos for RevUp, Civic TN, TN Disability Coalition, Dr. Cyn and the Graduates Rise, and their song Be The Teeth. taken in Tennessee by @civictn

Every Tennessean deserves fair rules, clear information, and the freedom to cast a ballot without barriers. That is how democracy is supposed to work. And this cycle, after district lines were deliberately redrawn to reduce the political power of some Tennessee communities, making sure every eligible voter gets through that door is not just good practice. It is how we protect each other.

If you run into issues during early voting (July 17 – August 1) or on Election Day (August 6), do not push through alone. Help is available and you are entitled to use it.

Follow us for election protection support and resources.
