I knew this review was going to be hard to write so I’ve been adding to it since I finished book one (And I also had to cut it down multiple times because it wouldn’t fit the IG caption limit 😂 ) so if you make it to the end i appreciate you 🥹

Ok soo this series is unlike anything I’ve ever read So much so that it surpassed Edge of Darkness 😱 and if you know me you know how big of a call that is! This book has ingrained itself so deeply into my psyche that I genuinely had to keep reminding myself these characters weren’t real!

I cried so many times and not even because of specific events I just felt the pain that Eden and Eli were carrying so deeply 🥺

This is not a romance as such.. It’s a psychotic tale of two equally fucked up intertwined souls who drag themselves to hell and don’t come back ❤️‍🩹

Eden & Eli are drawn to each other in a way that feels absolutely fucking inevitable Their relationship is so intense, but so fragile. They love each other with their whole entire beings 🖤

“All I want is him. All I want is this. Succubus. Icarus. A demon in the night. A mortal in the sea. I can help him fly. He can set me free.”

This was the most emotionally tormenting rollercoaster I have ever been on It’s messy, confusing and you never know who to trust

@kvrose_ writing is phenomenal These characters are so layered even the side characters are insanely well written

I genuinely loved every single thing about these books the car scenes the texting between Eli and Eden the fact Eden’s into witchcraft! And the spicy scenes.. which definitely made me question myself a few times 👀😅 UGH everything was perfect!

This book will absolutely fuck with your head and get under your skin so PLEASE check the trigger warnings before reading! The mental health representation in this series is heavy as fuck 😭

Hands down one of the best books/series I’ve ever read! and I am absolutely TERRIFIED for Sinister 😩❤️‍🩹

Okay, guess it’s time for a fresh little re intro since there’s now 5K of you here (WTAF) 😭🖤

I’m Caroline/Caro/CJ (to most of you on here) I’m a 34 year old ♑️ mum of two (15 & 8🖤) from NZ. I started on BookTok ages ago and was always way too nervous to make a Booksta… no idea why, but I’ve been here for over a year now and this space has given me some of the most genuine friendships and connections 🥹

Dark/pitch black & taboo romances are my mains 😈 but I love a bit of everything depending on my mood! I’m the biggest mood reader. You’ll never catch me setting monthly reading goals because I know I won’t stick to them 🫣

Another sad girl buddy read with @darkromancewith.teigan and @paige.reads.dark

I’ve been lacking the creative flow or the motivation 😅 to post lately! But I knew I wanted to make a post for this book as soon as I finished it… it’s just taken me a little while to get around to it 😝

And I know the majority of you have already read this one but I’m still gonna keep this shortish and sweet for those who haven’t!

“For the broken ones who are in need of something dark, morbid, and beautiful.”

And THAT it was 🖤

This book was so devastatingly beautiful it had me captivated and completely hooked from the first page!

It made me legit cackle, drool 🥵 and Sob BUUUT that’s how you know you’ve found a top tier book lol

The way these characters loved understood and helped heal one another was so intense raw and beautiful 💔 They were all just lost souls who found eachother when they needed eachother the most and watching their connections unfold was honestly so special!

I also LOVED the mystery element woven throughout the story! I had no idea what I was getting myself into when I started this book and I definitely wasn’t expecting a murder mystery subplot!

This book gave me ALL the feels and I’m still thinking about it! If you’ve read it you’ll know it genuinely does break you and then put you back together again.. kinda 😭❤️‍🩹

It’s HEAVY on mental health so plse check your triggers if you need to 🖤

Okaaay, I’m FINALLY doing a reading wrap up 🤣
I’ve been so slack the last couple of months but this month I smashedddd it!

So many new authors such a mixed bag of genres and so many emotions! I SOBBED, I giggled, I cackled and I wanted to throw my Kindle Holyyy shit 🤣😭 There were so many top tier reads, I can’t even deal 🫠

Being a mood reader is the bessst! Never knowing what you’re gonna pick up next and somehow ending up with the most unhinged mix of books 🖤

And thank you so much @luna.k.wicked for giving me an ALC of stay with me! 😭 it was fucking amazing hearing those babies come to life 🥹🦋

Just need to start off by warning you that this book is a non HEA 😅😓 And I’m still reeling from the heartbreak 😩
Absolutely nothinggg could have prepared me for the ending of this book! I thought I had an idea of how everything was going to play out but NOPE It was so much worse than I could have imagined 😭

As usual I’m going to try and keep this spoiler free! My quotes don’t have too much context to them so you’ll still be going in relatively blind if you decide to read this freaking masterpiece… which you absolutely should! Especially if you’re an emotional masochist like myselh because let me tell you, you will NOT come out of this book unscathed 😭

The way I INSTANTLY connected with every single one of these characters was insane, From the very first page I felt invested in their stories and I cared about every one of them 🥺 I felt like I was reading about people I actually knew and the way their emotions were written made everything feel so real

Also the fact that every chapter had a song that perfectly matched the emotions of that chapter just made the whole reading experience 10x more emotional! UGHH It was one giant emotional rollercoaster and I’m still not off 😅😭

I genuinely haven’t sobbed like this over a book in a long time and I really I don’t know if any book will ever break me quite like this one did!

This book is SO raw and emotional and the themes are heavy ASF! so pleaseee check your triggers if you need to!! 🖤

@o.d.emma this was fkn incredible Thank you for emotionally destroying me 💔😭 Saint, Nova and will always hold special place in my heart!
