Keep this scripture in mind when you follow these mega Pastors...
John 15:18-21 (NKJV):
18. “If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you.
19. If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.
20. Remember the word that I said to you, ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you. If they kept My word, they will keep yours also.
21. But all these things they will do to you for My name’s sake, because they do not know Him who sent Me. by @cjunedeniston

I don’t think it’s a coincidence that the Holy Spirit came like a dove. Not loud, not forceful, not overwhelming in the way we expect, but gentle. “And Jesus, when He was baptized… saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon Him.” (Matthew 3:16) The more I’ve sat with that, the more it’s been speaking to me… Because a dove doesn’t force its way in. It comes where it’s welcome. It stays where there’s peace. And it leaves when things become loud, chaotic, or restless. And that convicted me. Because how many times do we ask for the Holy Spirit to move, but our lives are so full of noise, distraction, and tension that there’s no place for Him to rest? “God is not the author of confusion, but of peace.” (1 Corinthians 14:33) A dove is also loyal. Once it bonds, it stays. And the Holy Spirit is the same way—He desires to dwell with us, not visit us occasionally. “He dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.” (John 14:17) If there’s distance, it’s not because He moved. A dove is careful where it lands. Clean. Intentional. And Scripture says, “Grieve not the Holy Spirit of God…” (Ephesians 4:30) That means it’s possible to make an environment He won’t rest in. Not because He’s harsh, but because He’s holy. We have to purge ourselves from sin, The holy Spirit will not be poured out upon filthy flesh.. and no it's not by works... But we also need to discipline ourselves when it comes to the flesh. And what’s been hitting me the most is this, a dove has a soft sound. You don’t hear it unless you slow down. Unless you get still. “Be still, and know that I am God.” (Psalms 46:10) I think sometimes we’re waiting for God to shout, and all along, He’s been whispering. I don’t just want to feel something emotional. I want to become a place where His presence can rest. “Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.” (Matthew 5:8) Less striving. Less noise. More surrender. More peace. More room for Him. Because the dove doesn’t land where it’s resisted; He rests where He’s welcomed. by @cjunedeniston

I will never forget...

31 years ago today, I went into labor with my second baby. Being 9 months pregnant, my heart was shattered 💔 for all the families of the children who perished in that horrific bombing in Oklahoma City.

I believe the stress of watching the tragedy unfold throughout the day is what through me into labor that night. 19 children in all lost their lives. 😔

The next day on April, 20, 1995, I delivered a healthy baby girl at St Francis Hospital in Tulsa. 🩷 She was born just over 1 week before her due date.

I was so thankful for life that day. We never know what tomorrow holds. 🙏🏼❤️ by @cjunedeniston
