Relaxing weekend in Ogden, Utah. Had to slow down all my runs due to an Achilles strain. But loved every minute on this hike to a waterfall with my love. Good to spend time with Karena and Anderson. Good luck to all Boston Marathoners! by @ckariampuzha

TDF half marathon. Race marked the end of a long summer of training in humid hot Texas weather. Was really encouraged to see all runners show up and push through the heat all the way to the finish line. This was my second running event after Boston. Have a few halves lined up this Fall. Not my best performance, but I always work for a better tomorrow. by @ckariampuzha

2 special gifts to me today. The first from the Boston Athletic Association and the second from my dear family who came out to cheer me. . I dedicated miles 16 to Kelli. The start of Newton hills and the first major hill. She said I should overcome obstacles now matter how hard. Mile 20 was for Karena. This was the heart break hill where I was ready to throw in the towel. Karena said running made a difference in her life . And finally last mile was to my dear beloved wife who has always been my best supporter especially through tough conditions. taken in Boston, Massachusetts by @ckariampuzha

In Texas I have always cooked outdoors. Simply because I do not want the cooking smells to get indoors. Winter has always been a challenge particularly today with a 18 degree temperature. So this is the secret to cooking outdoors in the winter. Be patient! Takes much longer to heat! Microwave water before you add in. Make sure you do not dry out your cooking. Other then that.. should be a great feast! by @ckariampuzha
